that's true, but Zak does it a bit differently. I've been following his blog for about a year, and it's cool because he doesn't just show the amazing things he comes across, he blogs about his everyday life, which is cool because you don't get that a lot with other blogs. Zak actually gives you a chance to get to know him as a person, not just as a dog trainer. but, each has his own opinion i guess, so i'll respect yours :)

oh lord, you are scaring me. I am taking 'Neo' to get his vaccs. and I am afraid to put him on a scale. He is a very big Border Collie, I estimated around 60 or so too, like you did, if 'Neo' goes over 70lbs, I am gonna freak. Neo has similar markings as 'Alpha' as well. 'Big black 'scary' dog, with 'pricked ears'. So many people are scared of dogs that are big, and especially if they are predominantly 'black'. My other BCs have always had more white that Neo does.

5 STARS for Alpha:)! He weaves so FAST! I really liked the 12 pole weave, even if he missed that first one:). Is he really 79lbs? He looks so much bigger than Kaine, and Kaine is 81lbs (and still growing). He is such a sweet dog and he gives such nice kisses:). The puppies at the end are super cute, especially that Chihuahua:). hey Zak, nice to see your dogs. Alpha sounds a lot like Cowboy, except 30lbs heavier. For play biting. I have to say I don't think "removing them from your flesh" is going to get your point across. I've found the best consequence is to ignore them, walk away and or put them in a SHORT "time out". This way they learn they have to play nice, or they don't get to play at all.

It's so annoying when you meet people that don't get "dog playing". When my dog was a puppy my father couldn't handle that he would play with his labrador; insisting that my dog was fighting and making the labrador vicious. Give me strength. Recently (he's adult now) he met a dog (oddly enough a labrador) and after a bit of coaxing the lab finally starting to play. Suddenly the lab's owner shrieked and demanded that I seperate my dog from hers because they were about to tear eachother apart. Sad
