if it's his own track, then he has to make the sound that'll come out by turning those knobs. making a sound that actually sounded nice is not easy

if he's doing a mix sessions, he'll have to decide what kind of songs mix well together.

it's not about turning the knobs. it's about when to turn the knobs the right time and what kind of change will bring the track when turning those knobs.

I think all the ableton videos sound alike - is that the limitations of the program or the programmer ? Also, your sound is very muddy ,maybe you should adjust your EQ

I do - it's much more practical than shelling out for a PC, then buying the right soundcard etc. All Mac's come with same soundcard, and even the lowest model the specs are terrific.

this is "alex under - el estavlo queado" from "los dispositivos de mi granja" (spanish producer btw).

To ptxavy: be careful when messing arround with just one clip. if you apply so much effects and bass kills, etc almost constantly, you can spoil the track, and we dont want to ;)

instead of do too much things with just one clip, try puttin' many clips togheter. it is actually better and you wont spoil the tracks making them undanceable.
