  • What you said makes sense. I hope you get some sun.

  • YES, PLEASE do a video about womens health! I think I have hormonal imbalance I get bad pain and long pmt often with no period. I have been about 80% raw for two months, have seen an improvement but need some help to properly heal.

    Thank you

  • Thanx for useful info Natasha!

  • Hey Natasha... can you do a video addressing women's health, especially menstruation and hormone balance? Has your (or your friends) experience with periods changed since you began eating raw?

Also.... do you speak French, out of curiosity?

  • great questions ... i am interested in those questions too. My peroid has started to change since transitioning to raw food... becoming more in line with the lunar cycle ... strange ...

  • An interesting thing that I recently learned, from Victoras Kluvinskas, and Dr. Clement) was that it is actually healthy sign not to have a period. A period is another way your body excretes waste build up. As raw food diet brings you closer to health by reducing the toxins ingested many find they have fewer, lighter or no periods all together. (This is not to be confused with women who suffer from eating disorders and therefore malnutrition, as this can cause many irregular bodily functions)

  • Having a regular period is woman's way of detoxifying-- i think its important. It being too heavy and painful is another story though and could be an indication of a heavy toxic load.

  • I agree, snacking for me is unnecessary. I did however at one time fall prey to the myth that it is better because it keeps your metabolism and energy high. If munching is triggered by a fall in blood sugar, green juice, wheat grass, algae, or simply not rising it in the first place can help alleviate the urge. But everyone's different, some people are happy with 1 meal a day.

And to add to your point of consciousness, I think it is a great habit to give thanks at the beginning of each meal.

  • thank you natasha, may the sun always shine you're way :D

  • Great advice Natasha!
