hi im about to go in to Multimedia design and production at fanshaw...well maybe i still did not say yes, but is it good? do i need a portfolio? i know that graphic design u need one i got fucked over on that last week, how are the jobs after college are there any?
You don't need a portfolio to get into MMDP (or at least you didn't, they may change that at some point, I don't know) And the work is where you find it... some people get some really good jobs, and others don't even stay in the field. So it's all in how you market yourself

It starts from scratch in terms of the programs used.. but it picks up and there are a bunch of sleepless nights. You have to want to be there, you can't slack your way through everything. Also if you were looking at graphic design. GD is like 80% Print based, and 20% screen based.. MMDP is the opposite.
