I do not think any one sounds that great at a foot ball stadium. Even the people with the best voices do not sound like themselves with terrible acoustics, so a lot of this is not James fault.

This cannot be James Durbin! the one who sang "will you still love me tomorrow". Dear God, it all went downhill from his live album sessions, some very horrid live recordings. Or maybe even since his duet with Lusk, all his songs have been screechy off key terrible. But this is the worst he has sounded. Not a big fan of him but I always thought season 10 was one of the greatest as even the 4th place was a great element, though he is not living it up. This is not pleasant to watch.

That was torture to listen to, honestly. I don't particularly like him but I know he isn't usually this terrible. If you didn't know who he was though and this was the first you heard him sing, you might be tempted to boo as well. So, kinda rude of the crowd but kinda understandable.
Well, i do not hear James singing badly, but i do hear a terrible echo and reverberation in that stadium that i havent heard in others. I can barely hear James for all the pounding echoes! Its as if he is in a huge cave or something. No wonder he didnt sound so good! I doubt any band would sound good there! I cant even hear the guitars except for an occasional twang! Even the drums were mottled and sounded far away and echoed. Not a good place for any band to play!!

Not a James fan (nor am I a 'hater') but booing someone is juvenile and low class.
I've been hoping James would come through and prove me wrong about him as I've been a metal head since the late 70's, but so far I've not seen a single live performance where his vocals were even considered passable. What's even worse is that his fans continue to make excuse after excuse for all these horrible performances. He's got the power, he just needs a good vocal coach and someone to tell him the truth.

But try watching his performances with smaller crowd such as"alone at a drive-in movie", "black dog", "back in black". you'll see how great he is. I am a HUGE james durbin fan, but this truly wasn't a good performance and it hurts me for him. I don't know what the deal is, because on American Idol he was never, EVER off. He was a natural with the best voice I have EVER heard. I wonder if maybe he couldn't hear himself, like debudoo said, it makes a difference if you can't hear yourself. I hope he can get it together. And the crowd were a**es for booing. and he is NOT a poser, check out AI from last year, you'll see why we're confused.

I do not think any one sounds that great at a foot ball stadium. Even the people with the best voices do not sound like themselves with terrible acoustics, so a lot of this is not James fault.

This cannot be James Durbin! the one who sang "will you still love me tomorrow". Dear God, it all went downhill from his live album sessions, some very horrid live recordings. Or maybe even since his duet with Lusk, all his songs have been screechy off key terrible. But this is the worst he has sounded. Not a big fan of him but I always thought season 10 was one of the greatest as even the 4th place was a great element, though he is not living it up. This is not pleasant to watch.

Well, i do not hear James singing badly, but i do hear a terrible echo and reverberation in that stadium that i havent heard in others. I can barely hear James for all the pounding echoes! Its as if he is in a huge cave or something. No wonder he didnt sound so good! I doubt any band would sound good there! I cant even hear the guitars except for an occasional twang! Even the drums were mottled and sounded far away and echoed. Not a good place for any band to play!!

@TheLambertLover I hope you understand what i mean because i am also bullied by my schoolmates and an aspiring singer as well. and when I perform infront of my family, i sound very different when I perform infront of many people in school its because i'm not comfortable with my environment. Just check out his old videos from "grease" first before you say anything.

Thanks for all the buzz here. StandUp is rising up the Active rock chart. 47 to 44 just since this has been loaded and still climbing! LMD went from #55 to #35 on MTV viewed in one day and still climbing! Keep up the buzz haters, we can get him higher on each!!
