Ok so it is awsum 2 play by ear & all, but its not bad if u play by tab...just using some needed help. I mean im sure Slash has used tab @ least once in his lifetime lol!

I don't see why everybody is shitting on tabs. It's not like "all the work is done for you", exactly. You still have to work out strumming patterns, timing, etc. It's just sorta' like..."a road map".

seriously guys, you can work out this lick just from watching it. Stop depending on tabs for everything, it's just painting by numbers. I tend to work out the riffs myself and parts of solos and only use tabs (for powertab or guitar pro, so then I can hear if it's right or not) as a last resort.

Slash taught himself and so did loads of other player seriously the second day i played my guitar i saw how to play sweet child of mine and i went and played it straight off on my second day. Tabs are terrible
