I think everyone who performs has had a time like this. I doubt seriously that he's stoned. What's more likely is that once he flubbed his line, he couldn't get it back under control because more silly lines kept intruding into this thoughts. Some lines he comes up with are pure genius. In my point of view, if just shows he was as human as the rest of us. Yes it's sad he was in that bad of condition. This was performed a few months before he died. I was never a big fan of him. I think everyone who performs has had a time like this. I doubt seriously that he's stoned. What's more likely is that once he flubbed his line, he couldn't get it back under control because more silly lines kept intruding into this thoughts. Some lines he comes up with are pure genius. Now the stage is bare, and I'm standing there, without any hair. That's pure comedy stream of consciousness which can be deadly for a serious theatrical performer. He just runs with it and has fun.

He might've have been messed up you can't knock the guy for trying. i think being on stage is what made him happiest there towards the end. But I think some of the fault should be Col. Parker's for running him hard like a prized horse. Also, the biggest problem was Elvis. Nobody could tell him no. Either way, God bless his soul.
