So you see kids... That's how you get your V6 to sound like a V8. It's all in the H pipe.

Y pipe sucks X pipe is best at performance but the H pipe is deep and has the best tone. Gotta love it.

Dude it sounds SICK, i bet its a beast, i just bought a 1994 mustang v6 with a 3.8, im going to buy Mac long tube headers and Mac off road H-Pipe with flowmaster 40 series mufflers, with 3.5 inch rolled tips. i was wondering how u think this setup would sound?

hey in you opinon (btw this sounds just like an old 71 boss mustang anyway) how would divorced duals with you set up sound...pretty much ur set up minus the h pipe and just true duals with long tubes ik h pipe adds tht aggressive sound but will the duals make it raspy or just ...louded id rather have tone then loud-ness or w/e

hmm. shorty or long tube headers? with shorties you might be able to squeeze them in, but with full long tubes, it completely bypasses that area of exhaust

yea, that sounds like a good set up. i have a O/R bassani x-pipe into Borla Stingers with BBK longtubes. thats just my preference though, yours will sound good and deep

its an off-road (meaning no-cats) h-pipe, and long tube headers(surpas the cat area) theres no cats to be found, hope that helped :)

i hope you didnt do it. shortys will not improve anything on these cars as they really already have them.. Get you a longtube set up, and drop everything but the mufflers and youll get this nice sound

Its alright for a v6 but thats why im selling it and getting a Trans AM. Ive had this car for a year and a half and its just too slow for me now. At first when i first bought it it seemed quci but it grows on you super quick. One thing you can do is throw on some 4.10 gears and it will help a lot. A Trans am with bolt ons and a cam will make 400 hp easy compared to a wimpy 200 that a v6 makes and 260 gt's make.

I realy dont understand how its posible to have that distinct mustang sound in a v6? But I hear it on this clip and a few other clips, thats amazing to me! I'm a mopar man formerly chevy all day, but you cant get around that mustang sound. I hear one and wont even have to turn around to know it a stang.
