Worse Online gameplay ever, Konami use their own servers instead of PSN so it is alot more laggy, plus i hate the whole kick thing when i kil someone in TSNE they try kick me, total no life noobs only play this game i hate it so much, I hate the new rules too, i, e the early leave rule, i have already lost lot of my grade and my current rank, Konami dont know how to run online, now the whole story is destroyed now they have made it on xbox, graphics will be shit too, KOJIMA IS A TWAT = FACT

Not at the moment no, they currently only accepted credit or debit card payment.

I think they were trying out PSN cards in japan but they never brought it over.

Definatly this game is FAR better than COD4 in terms of graphics and gameplay, and the online is really addictive. You'll find yourself playing it non-stop for hours.

The fact that you get a fantastic single player AND an awesome online multiplayer makes this game a definite buy for any PS3 owner.

HAHAH your funny. MGS4 single player is great, but the online absolutely BLOWS. It takes a  full clip to kill someone with an m4, and 2 shots with a sniper rifle! WTF? The controls work good for single player but not online. I mean come on, it takes like 10 seconds to switch to a grenade, and by the time you do, your dead! leveling up is impossible. This game is not friendly to beginners at all because more experienced players get way better equipment. COD4 > MGS4 in my opinion.

1: ONE shot to head = one kill. Aim for the head, that's how you play the game.

2: You TAP R2 twice to quickly change to the grenade (1 second). But you're such a noob you probably HOLD R2 down and scroll the inventory with the D-Pad.

3: EVERYONE gets the SAME weapons available, wether they're level 999 or 0. New clothes don't affect nothing.

4: Your level reflect your skill. And your level woul be -1000. Don't bash the game if you never PLAYED it idiot.

Yeah there is a deathmatch mode along with team deathmatch and various capture,base and rescue mission modes.

gameplay wise MGO is *much* more interesting than COD4, just as much action but with far more in the way of tactics and strategy. I loved COD4 online for about a month but after a while it just felt more or less like a neverending series of "spawn, kill, die, respawn". I've been playing mgo for almost three months and it's still fresh. Only caveat is that the network code is very, very poor: i never get lag in cod4, warhawk, resistance but mgo lags like a mother sometimes. great game though.

Yeah tonnes of people still play online... Sometimes it's hard to find a server that isn't full! But I guess that's because MGS is the kind of game that never gets boring with online play

To be honest, i've never owned a Metal Gear game before MGS4 as I haven't really been into the franchise. But as soon as they released the beta for MGO I was hooked, and decided then and there that I would get the game. It's amazing!

It also doesn't really take that long to kill people, there are some times that I have played and as soon as I have spawned there are enemies right by me to kill. It's as simple as ready the gun with L1 and then fire with R1...Not long at all

ak102 and the tranq pistol really on non-dp games XMB with dp enabled. Honestly tho I have been shying away from guns lately and focusing on sneaking and listening to my surroundings more. Time your heavy steps and listen to your own feet movements...If you use instincts in this game you will own so hard its not even funny.

it really does. my cqc is lvl 3 and i got my blades to lvl 3 yesterday, its fun to shank, slice, disarm, choke, and then shank again.

Yeah sorry about that, I know there is some weapon customisation, I just didn't explain what I meant properly. What I was trying to say was that they didn't implement the full customisation features that are in single player (i.e. the full 360 degrees weapon view, extra custom parts info and the variety of parts drebin gives you.)
