@ilubmaboi The kind of freak I first replied to on the comments here. Also tons of freaks over at imdb.com. It's probably hard to believe, but it seems they really believe that female rape is something that's not as hard to condone as male rape.
@ilubmaboi Not according to some of the freaks here who think raping women is more acceptable than raping men! They fail to see that ALL rape is disgusting and wrong! Probably thinks men are gods and women are cattle.
@pimp2day333 Well I am yet to see anybody getting raped- not in real life, but I was talking about the male rape scene in Pulp Fiction in that post. I'm sure male rape happens in real life- just because female rape is much more common doesn't make it more 'acceptable'.
The music takes away from the cruel feel the sequel has. Madcap comedy really has no place in a movie like this. Perhaps if a bigger budget were available someone could have turned this into a classic.
I'm not pissed off at you, I'm just pissed off at the fact that it's so easy for some people to applaud a woman getting raped, but they get so upset and disgusted when they see a guy getting raped. Both are grotesque as you said. I finished watching this movie, and the parents got revenge on the rapist and his gang, so it's all good.
IT Just Shows How Sick Someone Can be Some ppl Make These Movie Cause Sometimes this stuff Happens its just a horror movies now it your watchin it thinkin you can do this stuff is different
all this bullshit about this movie being a "classic" is pissing me off. "Oh, the remake was horrible", "this movie was a classic". I think the reason why so many people hated the remake was because they simply can't let go of the past and wanna stick to that. just because the remake wasn't your precious "classic" doesn't mean it was necessarily bad. I honestly like both.
i know i'm prolly gonna get a lot of bullshit with this comment, lmfao
I just need to speak my mind about this movie, comment if you will( i really need the feedback):
I really like this movie cause its a classic and it truly was one of the first "murderer" horror films. the acting isnt great but i like the murder scenes and the kidnapping ones but i wish i could have seen the rape scenes cause then it would have made it truly terrifying. But i hate the black stereotype people and the redneck killers. but its the 70s gotta love it. and the girl drowning. Brillant.
ummmmmm......is this supposed to be the really graphic and badass movie everyone says it is. because.....i find it really humerous and what is the music?? makes it feel like a fun and family friendly movie.
just because its classic doesnt mean its good wtf thats everyones excuse for a movie to be good "it's good cuz its a classic" . no it sucks the remake is soooooo much better and actually terrrifying
Well, considering what they HAD in the 70's does make it terrific. They didn't have as much technology improvements as we do now along with many other things. You should be able to look at both the original and the remake on its own. They are both equally wonderful in different ways. The original gives us one of the first shocking moments in horror with it's brutality and a timeless story.
Sure, the acting isn't wonderful and things could be improved upon, but you know that's what gives it it's 70's feel. The original is something more that we can relate to now in our time and the brutality can be shown tastefully. The acting is much better and with the way technology is now it's a beautifully made film.
yeah?? well, maybe some of them are "geniuses" like you wrote...but the sad part is that, almost of the time, we're just seeing these stupid creepy cops who are thinking that laws are their muscles and....donuts..! :P
Does anyone know the song please!!!????
