THE 4.4 and the 4.6 are based on the same engine so technically the supercharger would work but the reason they made the supercharged 4.4L smaller is because the cylinder walls are bored smaller to withstand the extra power from the supercharger.

To everyone that doesnt have a cadillac v-series. Your just jealous. The XLR-V has the same 4.4L Supercharged V-8 as my STS-V but my STS-V produces 479HP where-as this XLR-V only is 443HP or so due too less airflow under the hood because it is a much smaller car. This is what i was told by the GM dealership in my town. There is no way any car made by honda or acura could even touch this thing unless maybe an nsx which only maybe .005% of the people that said "this car sucks" could ever afford
