I use Total Video Converter - it works with a plenty of formats, there you can choose start point and end point of your extrat...but synch is not correct (
Hmmm... I've also got Premier Elements. I'm pretty sure it lets you unlink the audio from the video, so you could move the audio until it matches up. Does your program have anything like that?
The décor and lightong don't seem particularly appropriate: they would do also for Act III Madama Butterfly or Cosi fan Tutte, Of Mice and Men (etc.)

No, my program rips to automatically...I know method when audio and video streams are ripping separately...need to experiment sometime
