@gerry5933 you know,there is a lot of transcriptions of his name. all depends on a country. In Poland,which is his motherland, we write it "Fryderyk Chopin",or "Fryderyk Szopen". And when someone wants to be "cool" writes "Frédérique Chopin". (an says it with french accent,of course). It's normal - his work is the international good, you can't forbid people to write it in the (only) way they could read it. (

I would give everything I own to play music this beautiful. I have the potential, but I just don't have the money for lessons. I get so frustrated trying to teach myself and eventually I give up. I keep trying though, because the music is so wonderful. Sometimes I wish I had a strict family that forced me to take piano lessons when I was younger. It's depressing when you think about it, how terrible it is to love music you can barely play yourself. *sigh*
