Du is actually a Chinese ethnic surname because I'm also nguoi Hoa as well. I haven't come across a lot of Du's to be honest haha but the ones that I have met are usually Vietnamese mixed Chinese

Du is equivalent to Do in Viet. I check this info up the other day in wikipedia. My surname is Do.

I been to that place and all was well including the snails but I did have one clam that smelt worse than bad.. Still I didnt get sick! Love vietnam!
