The Easybeats were the australian beatles and Vanda and Young were the australian McCartney and Lennon. George is the older brother of Angus and Malcolm. Both bands rock seriously.
Harry and George also recorded as "Flash and The Pan" Great pop nonsense
Hilarious that this piece of garbage has removed all his his death threats and homphobic taunts towards me because I happen to think the Easybeats are the greatest .... not to worry, YT admin has been notified, you asshole.
ill keep an eye out on ut, regretfully nothing ,live, ive seen here compares to ,friday on my mind,of course ,that one song,is a bonified phenomenon, whitch even at my decrepit age, never fails to make me want to leap around the room and kick furniture around,,what intense energy , its a drug,! thanks for the great vid, your a pal1!
head must be so far up your jacksy whoever you are. These are so not like the Beatles. You need glasses and your'e brains feeling with the hands of a watch.Numpty.
@lemonite1 Well they did strive for harmonies like the Beatles did. so there were some similarities there; and it was all "beat" music .Beatles , Easy Beats - similar not identical in every way as modern tributes bands try to be but certainly similar. They would not have sold if they hadn't joined in with the current trends at that time. A lot of bands did. They still do it today. That is why when you hear a song you can tell which decade it was from !! Give it 20 years !!
they were a cool band long before they recorded, English, Dutch, Scottish living in a Migrant Hostel in Villawood Sydney, The Easys were the best band in Sydney, they kicked arse at Beatle Village in Taylor Square, anyone who was there will never forget the vibe, something special. Georges Young younger brothers were influenced by the Easys, Go acca dacca, but you must give credit to the rythmn playing of Geroge Young. Great memories and good luck Stevie
Songs like this in the Garage Rock era were so influential to the 70's of Punk Rock.
You can hear where the sound of aggression in the vocals/guitaring came from in parts of some 1960's songs.
