"ni zhen piao liang" does not mean "you're really pretty" It means "You are truly pretty" If you wanted to say "You are really pretty" you would say "Ni hen piao liang"

zhen means "real"... not "really"...

you cant do word to word translation that will never make sense...

@ebokers100 actually the words are correct. 你真漂亮. or in pinyin we write as nǐ zhēn piàoliang. so i must disagree to your comment, as he has said the correct words.

Chinese is very hard to learn. It's not that easy to pronounce things... And this guy has a slight accent... *I am Chinese* Mei is more like... pretty and piaoliang is more like beautiful. I say 'ni hen mei' more often that piaoliang. I find piaoliang to be a bit more formal =\
