jump off the back of the island in august the water is perfect there are 2 spots to jump. 1. 30 foot cliff 2. 10 foot cliff i prefer the 30 foot

Be careful. I nearly drowned off the rocks on my 18th birthday. High waves that day and I got washed into the lake - lucky I was familiar w/LS due to visits to my cousins' camp. I got banged up but lived to tell the tale. To quote my dear cousin Dorothy Maywood Bird, this lake of ours is beautiful, but it is also wicked.

When the weather is warm in August or very early September, it's not too chilly to wade across to the island. That beach is spectacular for picnics, volleyball, kegs of beer, etc.
