@Bobzeaux It's not impossible, but it doesn't really make sense, which was his point. The reason you emphasise a word is to draw attention to it, and obviously there's no need or reason to draw attention to the word 'in'. I'd assume the director used the wrong word, or else was kinda dumb.

The writer, Peter Hastings, actually described the episode as "a $250,000 in-joke." It's all because Moe LaMarche used to recite bits from the infamous tape as level checks at recording sessions, so he did this short purely as a joke on that. (Note that, in the original, the producer, writer, director, and engineer are voiced by the real people--Tom Ruegger, Peter Hastings, Andrea Romano, and Harry Andronis, respectively.)
