Chance it could be the space station, but i believe otherwise. I took a video of two objects just like that on 9/8/09 only the front one blinked on and off and moved different than the big one in back. its called 2 ufos floatin about if u look it up. These kind have gotten real close to me, even on the ground within jogging distance but i was to scared and wasted the opportunity.

awesome, I took the original video and I agree that i don't believe it was the space station.. I struggle with the "space station" excuse for everything and i've seen several others like this.. Regardless, these floated over my house and that's what the video is!! Watching it live, as they disappeared they got higher and higher .. so, i'm assuming they were in our atmosphere!

@Nouseeker a couple of people have said it already, but Atlantis(space shuttle) has been attached in space to the ISS(space station), and people live there all year round. The shuttle returned on this day so you can see the sun shine off both of them from space, normally you can only see ISS

I saw these lights as well in central Virginia on the 25th. They were in fact the space shuttle Atlantis and the International Space Station, flying in synch, and which were visible in this pattern for a few days - several references can be found in the news, and explains the number of the same sightings across many states at around the same times.

Hey RJvadnais, I'm actually the person who took the video and quite surprised to see it on youtube as i only posted it on MUFON. Anyway, at the end when you hear me yell I saw another light shoot towards where the lights disappeared.. Was it a shooting star? I dunno, just ironic that it happened at the same time. If you check MUFON reports, this was witnessed ALL over the east coast from Alabama to Pennsylvania. Of course, mine is the VA report
