@7273rahimahbaharim their are little red lines on the print out that you can cut so that the wings will fold back, I will try to make a video showing how.
@Hkup5 This one is difficult to make fly, the midsize version flies but not as well as I would like, the A-10 warthog is one that flies really well and it's easy to make.
hey yesterday i have made a Yak-52, that is catapult launched and made of paper, i have designed by myself and it took me about 6 hours, i used 6 layers on some places and have harden the paper with cyanoacrylat, the idea for my design technics i have from ur videos, today i will take it on a test fly and see if my time was not wasted :D i hope i find a cameraman to upload a video of it, if it flies :)
@taoistflyer i tested it yesterday, and it needs some improvment, there are some places that react bad about the speed given by the ruber, it does fly, but to get it real high u need more speed...hmm i have to do some improvements and than i will try to make a video ...thx for ur reply :)
Nice Stearman there! You've developed quite an impressive series of these paper flyers on your site, well done.
At the risk of you wanting to slug me. it's spelled 'biplane,' not 'byplane.' Not trying to be a fink, but someone searching for neat stuff around YouTube's likely to miss this neat plane if they're using the correct spelling.
@mu2freighter I noticed that after I posted it, thanks for the heads up. It was 7am on a Sunday when it uploaded and i didn't have a chance to change it till now. Its funny I've named files Biplane correctly at least 50 times making this video and i get it wrong on the video title. I guess i was making a paper airplanes in class during spelling lessons ;)
@wallwill50 I've been thinking about that for a while. I may be able to pull of some sort of auto gyro, it's hard to make it scale, and have it fly with a rotor but i may be able to , stay tuned.
Try making one that you dont throw just drop it to the ground and it will fly

@eugenmichailow The Yak 52 is a nice little aircraft and good choice. the airframe should glide pretty nicely. Send me a video if you get one posted.

would it also be possible to put a pin in the nose and have a paper prop spinning around it in the airflow?
Mark2790 6 months ago
@Mark2790 that would definitely be possible, like those little foam planes we would get when we wear kids.
In fact i want to try this out in foam and see if it works better.
