Imagine having to do that for words, sentences, paragraphs, classes, speeches, books, etc. A Rick Roll joke takes 8 clicks to set up :P

I am aware that he is known for his sense of humour. I follow a lot of his work and interviews. The issue is that the audience's reaction is not correct. When something funny happens people laugh. Nobody laughed in this video, they applauded. That doesn't make sense, so I believe the video is a fake. Does saying this video is fake mean that Mr. Hawking cannot joke? No.

Further, the overlayed mechanical-sounding voice is is a good imitation, but its not quite right.
