I remember once on lego island I went up to the information centre and then just walked off the edge of it. i was flying. it was so cool. but I dont know how I did it. I was the policewoman at the time

I remember hearing some rumors about additional areas being unlocked once you had the Red Brick in Everything on Every Character. I tried my hardest to get all of them (hey, I was a kid :T ) and eventually did, but the new areas never popped up. I always thought I was doing something wrong... Anyone know anything about this?

Yes, did you travel to the cave and click on the pirate's burial place 3 times after you caught all the red bricks? He comes out alive, wanders around as a normal character. Inside where he was staying, you can then click on the parot he left behind which starts up a debugged version of Lego Island, spawning you at the Information Centre. In this, you can walk on grass, up hills (unrealistically) and visit extra parts of the buildings that weren't finished in the final game.

Some of my happiest memories come from visiting LI and listening to its music. I still play it once in a while though I like it as much as I did 10 years ago. Wouldn't it be sweet to have a soundtrack play for everywhere you walked?

Yes! I clicked the hell out of that box just to hear the gruesome pigging out noises that ensued. And the (perhaps even better) too-loud clattering, clomping tap of their tiny plastic footsteps!
