I don't think I am qualified to answer that question since I haven't done any recording. And I am sure this thing doesn't sound as good/close as the real stuff. but it sounds good to me thru my mesa boogie and I would use it if I have a chance to record but once again I haven't tried so what do I know.. : )
I like It. Obviously it is not original analog stuff but to me it is good enough for gigs and rehearsal. If I record I am sure I can rent the real stuff. But this thing is easy to use and I am happy with it.
