sad and pathetic is the category that best describes what the McCain camp has come to.
You know when you run over a cat and it breathes a few times before it dies? that is what the McCain campaign is doing right now...breathing its last breath.
first of all...he's not a Muslim...second of all not all people who practice Islam are radicals or terrorists, but that's irrelevant. Lastly, Only shitbags call other people shitbags because they can't come up with anything better to say.
I think he seems like he will be more flexible in terms of foreign policy;in that he is more willing to negotiate "without preconditions". Also, even though he isn't an economist, he's taking advice from some of the best and is in favor of more regulations on oil companies. He also seems to be more invested than McCain in finding alternative fuel sources..which I think is a better method for weening ourselves off of foreign oil than increased drilling. I have more if you want to hear 'em.
Ok first of all, when he does meet without preconditions, it's going to be bad, we can't meet with some of the world's worst terrorists without them. Pre-conditions means to make it safe for all the countries involved. 2nd, Obama wants to STOP OFF SHORE DRILLING, which is a harder way to find alternative fuel.he wants to make the war and our relationship with the middle east worse. That's one of McCains main platforms(finding alternative fuel) And i dont' think Bill Ayers is considered the best.
first of all McCain's offshore drilling pertains to OIL which is not an alternative energy source. Secondly...the whole preconditions thing does NOT just apply to terrorists...for the most part he is talking about leaders of foreign countries that we may not agree with. Obama was 8 when Ayres committed acts of terrorism...the fact that the Republican platfrom can't drop that bone is simply pathetic...McCain's not the worst, but he sure chooses the worst to run his campaign. Oh and there's Palin.
that should give Obama an idea not to closely associate with a WELL-KNOWN Terrorist and for some reason thereis always an excuse for who he's associated with.--Rev.Right-"i wasn't there when he was racist"--Bill ayers-"I only new him through this and that"--Antoin Rezko-supposedly noties except that hedonated 22,000 be4 beingconvicted of money laundering and more. I don't wanta president who is associated with these ppl and for sme reason has nothing to do with them when something goes wrong
Those people aren't Obama...oh and even though it's irrelevant to the issue at hand, don't try to associate Obama with racism. When McCain question one of his campaign aids in a rally she said that she didn't want an Arab to be president. Please, McCain's associated with more racists than you could count. But again, that's irrelevant. Oh and can bring up numerous scandals associated with McCain, but there's no point. I don't mind if you have different views than me, but don't be a hypocrite.
Ididn't say they were obama,Ijust said that he is associatedwith them, and forsomereason, there is always an excuse. When did I say anything about racism. I don't care if he's blak or arabic or whatever. This goes both ways!alot of ppl from both sides are saying things like that but that has nothing to do with the his ability to lead. Obama has less experience than Palin, and he's lied about manythings such as his tax plan, mccains health care and more.thats notsomeone i want to be the president
I like that he's anti-drill, pro choice, and pro alternative energy. I like that he's only got one house, one car, and no personal jet. I like his health care and tax plans. You?
to blindly except something so totally out of context means you are the gullible audience mccain is hoping to suck into his campaign with this crap. he's glad you're dumb.
i find mccain to be the biggest clown when it comes to hubris. Rich Mccain claims that the recession is only in our minds but knows what everyday people's issues are? he wants to drill for us not big oil? laughable. He's a 'maverick' not an @sshole? give me a break.
let's debate issues. stop whining that you're not cool.
McCain doesn't need to reach out to me. I cannot possibly cast a vote for him (look at my profile). Nor did I ever indicate that I was supporting him
And to talk about playing on people's gullibility, what about when a person goes to Germany and stages a large rally with two rock bands, free beer and bratwurst drawing a huge crowd seemingly for him? How as gullible there, the entire world media!
"The fact that Obama lured crowds with beer & bands means he does know what people want. lol. kudos to him. mccain can't even keep his supporters awake when he speaks." And this is where we differ on our views on this subject. I saw that event as a very clever campaign stunt to draw massive attention and create the impression that he was already president. I get my mileage out of these points out of the fact that our new Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, was elected in to office in very similar fashion
the point was to make him look presidential, duh! if you have something you want people to hear or someone you want them to see you have to get people there if the name alone won't do it. i doubt beer & bands were the only draw as you suggest, but all politicians in the US use celebrities to get people to take notice. mccain just has a hard time finding any good ones, except of course the terminator. and arnie IS a celebrity turned politician. so was reagan. both republicans.
Finally, if you have a problem with candidates being rich, then vote for somebody other than Obama. He is a multi-millionaire!!!
And to top it off, he wants raise taxes on people poorer than him, leave petrol prices where they are by not drilling to make you stop consuming.... does he care? Probably not. He is rich enough!
The issue is not Mccain's being rich, this issue is that he thinks our financial problems are in our heads. The concept of context does not appear to be your strength.
The fact that Obama lured crowds with beer & bands means he does know what people want. lol. kudos to him. mccain can't even keep his supporters awake when he speaks.
I'm sticking w/ my original point. This is a childish distraction, a desperate attempt to counter Obama's popularity. Only the duped & haters will approve it.
Why Thank You. Funny you should message me. I just recently started reading your blog and was only last night listening to a couple of your podcasts and interviews (I really got to look at Edward De bono a lot more!). Keep up the good work.
Wow, McCain's campaign is being run by a bunch of 15-year-olds, isn't it? If I were a McCain supporter, I'd be a little embarrassed. It's one thing to have bloggers and pundits putting forth this kind of silliness, but isn't McCain running for president? Doesn't he have anything to say on the issues? If this is the best he can come up with, I'm scared at the thought of this man running our great country.
What in the world is this doll doing on such as Obama in 2010

Geez, I've never seen the part at 0:32! Is he full of himself or what?!
OmegaRage 3 years ago
that was so obviously out of context. note the guy laughing next to him. obama is even laughing. don't get duped!
MissNophi2U 3 years ago
You're refering to the "Can you see the light?" section.
Yes, it seems Obama was probably talking tongue-in-cheek. I also noticed the fellow next to him, laughing.
I'd like to see more of this section, to get it into context.
I'd especially like to see whether it was "a true word spoken in jest."
i.e. Whether, even though Obama was being funny, did he mean it, anyway - is he really "full of himself"?
I have been seeing mounting evidence of hubris.
prodosworldwide 3 years ago
No, the laugh was a red herring. He's full of himself. That I am sure of.
