Thanks for making the video but I just couldn't take the voice. Muted the sound half way through and went off what I was watching. Just some constructive feedback.
@gamerfan81 Dude, yes..they DO move when yo0u adjust the scope from the internal parts being moved when you crank the adjustment turrets.
that being said....EVERYTHING needs to be in the same place when you adjust after the initial bullet strike to get the rifle lined up on it's correct bullet track.
@80spodcastchannel but you said the whole point of the laser was to just get you on paper, then you do the fine tune stuff at the range. if you're already on paper, why bother with the laser? you can't fine tune with the laser, because you're projecting a straight line parallel to and lower than the sight line.
@modex20 Dude...your now splitting hairs and seriously borderline trolling.MOST of my audience is smart enough to use this to GET THEIR GUN ON PAPER,then shoot for real on a gun range. you fail to understand,INITIAL ZERO,not battle, not actual,INTIAL. as in get your gun on PAPER, hence the title of this very video, got it now? now please stop replaying the same argument over and again, rephrasing your statements, trying to drag me into a troll fest, better then you have tried,I dont play with trolls
@modex20 Dude...notice, FINE ADJUSTMENTS AND DISTANCE SETTING ARE NOT THE POINT OF THIS VIDEO. ok, done with the definition part, this is video to show how to get your "zero" on paper for the ABILITY to not waste a bunch of shots just trying to get somewhat on target, this is done in abasnse of the ability to "bore sight" your initial zero. how that helps. we all know bullets DO NOT travel straight, gravity has a defined pull. but your " TRUE ZERO" is that point where aim and bullet intersect.
@realgungho hey glad you liked it, do you own air guns or real guns? I know the licenses are hard to come by but you all get some cool guns even if their straight pull it's still a real gun.
Hey Dude. No air just real guns. Got a few nice ones, my .308 Sako & my AK103 straight pull. The laser is a life saver, turned up on a range after having removed my scope the night before. Laser zeroed at a 100yard post marker & then dialled up the scope for the target @ 600 yards. First shot was on paper. I love my laser. ;)
@sootch00 innovation versus frustration, yeah technology can be your friend. that is unless you got a slight problem with a terminator infestation. wonder you could spray to prevent that?
"Sarah Conner? I'd like to see her please"
ahhh crap, thought I sprayed. hey, what kind of gun is that?
Great, great video. What you explain here is freaky in that it is almost word-for-word what I was trying to explain to a new shooter only a few days ago. He didn't quite "get it" and suspected I was bs'ing. Maybe 'cuz I said "that's just a flyer" way too many times and was looking confused. More likely its because I don't talk like Dude ;) (AFTER looking foolish is when I noticed my badly cracked scope ring). Gonna point him to this vid so he'll understand that what I was teaching was true.
@MrWheelie19 hey brother, the concept is the concept, but if the HARDWARE is faulty that's a wholllle other issue with which to contend with. flyer's suck and I HATE when I call a shot and it's out, makes me want to stomp my own brains out for wasting a round. but then again, that's why they call it a craft, and human error.
glad to assist the dude if he watches and learns, it's all we can do is show by example and hope they decide to learn from it. as always, great to hear from ya.
As always nice ed vid, But dude you know "you" can do it..... MIL DOT is the only way to throw a party, along with some Kentucky Windage and your special guests will have a blast for sure, I forwarded this vid to my nephew he's a lil pup sheepdog in training.... Heh heh heh heh!
@orions7s thanks brother, glad you enjoyed it, I have a pretty kickass scope that has yet to be mounted on my *deleted for security purposes, future video content* rifle and it'll show dots and THENnn I'll have to do a stock cheat rest/hold over value card. so that will reference the needed hold over and insertion of S.W.A.G.(Scientific Wild ass Guess) that I first heard about from Gunny Hathcock, and his amazing abilities.STAY TUNED, glad the lil' guy is learning from a good uncle.
@ETHRON1 Daylight use isnt really all that good, the red ones are in the range of wavelength where the sun just washes them out. the GREEN ones however, are worthy of daytime exposure, but are alot more expensive. as for the inbarrel explosion factor, yeah I've seen that happen. but then again, if your being safe, you always CHECK YOUR GUN BEFORE FIRING, FOR ANY OBSTRUCTIONS IN THE BORE. there is always the dumbass factor, and some people choose to ruin their barrels rather then follow proceedure

The first step of your video is to put a round on paper? Why would I need the laser then if I'm already hitting the target?
modex20 5 months ago
@modex20 saves you the rounds to do so if your doing the inital zero, and it's kinda hard to shoot in your HOME.

The bullet doesn't travel in a straight line out of the barrel like a laser beam does. It arcs.
