@waluigiland computers and PlayStation consoles didn't have the memory to handle a game with graphics that advanced for the whole thing cut scene where shorty but had good graphics because they took up so little space on the disk even games with simple graphics if they where to long had to be placed on multiple disks (star ocean the second story for example) in order to keep the game from taking to much space graphics where simplified.

Well, knowing silent hill itself, if you don't leave, you're most likely dead.

We gotta assume the worst, unfortunately. especially since 2 of Jame's endings involved him escaping, and we find he never escaped. And its more of a mystery since our detective friend from 3 never found him.

Like I said. We gotta wait and see if theres another game and they clear up those whom we never see again.

Technically Alyssa IS Heather/ Cheryl.

It's complicated. Basically Heather is Alyssa's purity incarnate. Hence why its a baby. And Harry loved Heather, which is all Alyssa wanted.

On a side note, this ending is the canonical. It got confirmed for sure in SH: Homecoming. Deputy Wheeler mentions Cybil and aid she never returned to Brahams.

Unless they make another SH and Cybil is alive and she just never went back to the force or something.

it's just this... get a bottle and go to the hospital with a red fluid on the floor with broken glass, use the bottle, then you get a bottle with some special fluid, now, when you get to the amusement park when you battle with cybil there are two choices, (1) Kill Her; (2) use the bottle with fluid on cbil to save her...

I feel as though this is the true ending for the story. I mean lets face it, Harry had no idea what the bottle of lquid was and he didn't learn the purpose until kaufman used it. Also if he uses it on cybil that means he won't have the the lquid to turn into some ball that Heather uses.

Also it sounds like Heather doesn't have a mother figure in her life after playing the game

After u save him in the bar, you have to find his stash in the Motel Garage. It is possible to skip both the bar or the motel, if u skip either Kauffman won't appear in the final scenes

The incubator (the woman) has born the incubus (the demon)- because Kaufman threw the Aglaophotis it couldnt gain full power so Harry was able to kill it. With her last remaining power, the incubator was able to born a new incarnation of Cheryl , which is Heather of SH3.
