And I believe Jeremy Renner is a great actor; nominee for several awards including the Oscars and I believe he will do justice to whatever character he will play in the Bourne series, of course keeping in mind that the character Jason Bourne is "owned" by Matt Damon.

For info: The original author of the Bourne series was Robert Ludlum who ACTUALLY wrote a trilogy: The Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy and Bourne Ultimatum. But Robert Ludlum passed away in 2001 so these series are BEING continued and written by ERIC VAN LUSTBADER. The Bourne Legacy is a SEQUEL to the first three books, written by Van Lustbader. FIVE other Bourne entitled books were written by LUSTBADER: BETRAYAL, SANCTION, DECEPTION, OBJECTIVE & DOMINION.

we understand, jeremy renner is not jason bourne, this novel is some filler for the series. its like the path of finding jason bourne again.

they prefer to shoot in the Philippines because it is cheaper, the rugged, slum location fits the script better than other locations and Filipinos are more accommodating.. it's also good for tourism and makes good ties with Hollywood and same time the Philippine movie industry,.. local filmmakers/ movie enthusiasts would also get some hands-on techniques in film making should they be part of this movie.. be proud, we are Pinoy.

Anong gusto mo, Bollywood o Hong Kong? yung may mga nagliliparang di kapani paniwala? hahaha! wag na uy.. at kung lokal naman na pelikula- pare pareho lang ang script at ang babaduy pa.. at least kung may taga Hollywood may matutunan ang local film industry kung paano gumawa ng Matinong pelikula.
