OOOOOOOOOOOH, something I forgot to mention!!! You need to look at the upper tool bar.  There's a little field that let's you adjust the thickness. SET IT TO 10.

dude how do u like snap in a line like that. i dont have the line tool on my toolbar thing. is ther a setting i gotta change or what?

well, I think that your line tool is currently the circle tool. Find that tool, and find a little triangle at the corner, and if you click that arrow, a drop down menu full of drawing tools will display, one of which will be the line tool.
