  • It really is the Pink Panther's car.

  • The car is ugly but the technology is great!

  • i'll get a ferrari for that cost

  • Oh god. Why does this thing have eight wheels? Increases drag Drastically!

  • The Oil companies are trying their best to stop free energy ideas from spreading to common ppl.

We need to put an end to this corruption ,start generating your own electricity now.

Visit LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM and get the blueprints . Join the Revolution!!

  • Sooo... the neomax magnets are the secret to this?

    SWEET! I want some!

  • One last thing: if you live in either California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, or Main, the warranty of the hybrid battery pack on the Prius is automatically extended to 10 years or 150,000 miles.

  • @GarrettKeetley

That's a difference of $3000 in around 5 years. Pretty significant, if you ask me.

Also, what you "heard" is bullshit. A new battery pack for the Prius is $2500, not $7000 like you said. And you can readily look up this info. Also, should the battery ever fail or lose the ability to hold a charge in 8 years or 100,000 miles, Toyota will replace it.

You're not making a very convincing argument, to be honest...

  • @GarrettKeetley

Well, let's see. First of all, a Volkswagen Jetta TDI does not get 60+ MPG. It gets 42 MPG highway, and 34 MPG combined. A Prius gets 50 MPG combined. That means it costs 6 cents per gallon of fuel. Fueling a Jetta TDI costs 9 cents per gallon of fuel.

Taking this into account and a fuel cost of $3.00 a gallon for both Diesel and Regular Gasoline:

Price to fuel Prius for 100,000 miles: $6000

Price to fuel Jetta TDI for 100,000 miles: $9000.

  • @Atheismrulez You missed something important about GarrettKeeely, he is in Zimbabwe, where they don't have the excess safety features that suck down the mileage. The 60+ mpg might be a bit high but it is not far off for that vehicle there.

  • I forgot what I was gonna say about the car in the vid.

    Lithium is cool !!!

I can go 8 whole blocks before needing to swap to the backup battery.

  • @GarrettKeetley 60+mpg? damn thats nasty my hummer does like 11-mpg lol

  • too expensive

  • Where's Lady Penelope? Thunderbirds are go!

  • I cannot see that thing getting past the prototype stage.

  • Way better than a prius limo.

I will buy one when the car charges itself..solar roof perhaps

    The future slug car

  • IMPORTANT!---> so how did they manage to get 200 km range, half-decent charge time of 10 hours, AND super fast speed?!?!?!

  • looks like running on lightning power...

  • wow its fast

  • the nose of the car is the only thing I don't like. It's too much of the 2000's and the rest of the car looks from 2020's

  • Ya.. I can see the press release. "Meet the 2015 FUGLY!"

  • $250000 is a lot of money for a car

    but is areal cool concept

  • it's the Bugatti Veyron of electric cars :)

  • Why 8 wheels?

  • one engine in one wheel have 80HP.. so 4*80=320HP but 8*80=640 HP !!!

  • more grip

  • and for the stability

  • more engines

  • Who knows but it is diffrent how many people can say i have an 8 wheel drive car .This reminds me of the car from thunderbirds tv series seriously cool .

  • i am a banana!

  • EXTRA COOL!!!

  • It is not produced yet in commercial quantities? Oh, what a surprise! It rather looks like a train on tires!

200km with one battery filling? At what speed?

So it is a city car!

  • I also heard that they solved the long Recharge problems by putting a layor of Carbon NanoTubes between the plates as a Seperator I think they were getting a Recharge time of less then 5 Minuts

  • Yeah.

    5 minutes.

    That's... plausible.

    >_>

  • Typical ploy to Discourage us from Buying an Electric car.

always there problem is Power Dencity.

if you make a Car with Lead Acid Batterys with that Range it would have to Carry over 1000Lbs of Batterys

  • Holy nigger mother fucking cock sucking piece of jewish japanese dog shit, that's a cool car.

  • It's not silent, though. Just not as noisy as diesel and gas cars. It makes sounds, albeit different ones.

  • yes and i bet u think polution is good aswell?....ffs!

  • LancerVX: Understandable, but are you willing to continue to trade the health of the environment for your purring engine? Some people prefer a Big Mac and fries as comfort food...but it's slowly killing them.

  • actually caught a glimpse of pimp my ride.. u can link a boombox loaded w sounds( comes out ur speakers) of other cars engines link it to your when u rev u get any car u want, lol that could b just the toy to ween off of noise :) sadly this was linked to a minivan or something but sonded like an expensive fast car, LMAO

  • Here we go again, another great car, but so overpriced that only the rich n famous can afford it. COME ON GUYS HOW ABOUT BUILDING A CHEAP CAR THAT GIVES GREAT PERFORMANCE, ONE THAT WE CAN ALL AFFORD.

  • It is physically impossible with current technology. We need to find a good source of electricity. Batteries are so utterly poor compared to oil and we still have to burn oil to charge the batteries. Poor, very poor.

Scientists are fucking around with batteries, solar, and wind because it is 50 year old technology and they are too scared or too stupid to try anything new.

  • If we never wasted time revising solar time after time after time after time by thousands of scientists we would have fission AT LEAST if not antimatter or dark energy.

Once we have a good electric supply we can just burn hydrogen in internal combustion engines since low efficiency wont be a problem.

In the process we will most likely learn things that will enable space travel, dark energy hold enough power to remelt the core of mars so we can inhabit it in a few hundred years.

  • You are obviously misinformed. Solar power is currently one of the energy sources with the most potential. It is free and completely pure, and the only thing keeping us from switching is the petroleum industry. A solar panel field with current technology the size of 100x100 miles in the arizona desert will power all of USA.

So instead of bitching and whining about your fairytale energy sources not being here, do your best to get the working technologies up and running in a large scale

  • @Nintencrow It's : not reliable, not economical and generaly speaking NOT ecological... enough?

  • @AKAtheA Reliable? As if BP has proven the reliability of petroleum? Fuck your strawman argument.

Economical? Did you read my comment? Look around you? Given subsidies, solar power would easily grant new industry birth. You know I'm right. Besides, economics aren't the bottom line of everything. Given enough crisis, ecology will win.

And yes, it's more ecological in many ways than most other renewable resources.

  • @Nintencrow Your power would be completely dependant on the weather...not very 21st century...

At STANDART prices, a typical solar panel has a very hard time paying itself off, not to mention the costs for solving the unreliability !

(there's also the non-existant study, if a solar panel can generate more energy than it takes to make one, there's quite a chance that it doesn't)

So take your hippie (or whatever you prefer to call yourself) comment back to your own utopia...

  • @Nintencrow that would cost more money than the world wide GDP to build

  • Hydrogen combustion engines still produce harmful emissions, better off using fuel cell.

  • The recombination of Hydrogen and Oxygen through combustion creates heat and H2O.

The recombination of Hydrogen and Oxygen in a fuel cell creates electricity and H2O.

  • Search wikipedia for Hydrogen internal combustion engine and look under emissions.

The combustion of hydrogen with air however can also produce oxides of nitrogen (NOx): H2 + O2 + N2 = H2O + N2 + NOx

Where under sunlight, oxides of nitrogen and volatile organic compound would form smog.

  • You can have it cheep, fast, or of good quality...now pick two.

  • how many times do you think they tried to lift that elephant... ?

  • who wants a car looking like that...

  • but that is a "racing" version of an electric car... if you look at TESLA... its a normal and beautiful car ! :)

  • CANCER CURE = RICK SIMPSON'S HEMP OIL

  • hihhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • 255000 hmm yea that makes it easy, have to own a oil company to afford it

  • What do ya nean UGLY!?? It's a beauty! Definately a break from the past, something out of a sci. fi movie! I'd buy it, if I could? Hell! It's no more than a Rolls Royce, price wise, Hellova guy or chick magnet!!It's SO far ahead of it's time that there aren't any charge stations for it? After all, how many GAS stations were there in 1890??

  • Get over yourself -- beauty is a matter of personal taste. If you think it's beautiful, terrific! Personally, I find it ten shades past ugly and that's okay too.

There is no right or wrong here. That's why they're called OPINIONS. Look it up.

  • wtf who cares how fat this can go

    what matters is the range

and it should have 2 sets of batteries , 1 set should be charging allways

  • Thats true, and they should be charged with solar panels attached to your car, maybe it will look ridiculous but it is worth the price instead of charging your car at home and have to pay the electric bill.

  • cars dat run on water is the future

    hydrogen!

  • LOL nOOO, electric , how much u have to do ot make hydrogen out of h20 is more power its the least efficent of anything,LOL

plus u NEED a fuling station w in range.

u can charge ur electric anywhere. do some research.

the car of the future was made from the begining of horseless carriages.

big 3 dont like that they cant get $ for replacement parts, they want us dependent!

check "who killed the electric car"

  • well maybe not for the future but the cheapest way to make u run on the roads today

check out the dude vids who puts hydrogen cells into his ford f250 and other vehicles

    sound promising

and did you really laughed out loud twice while writing this? type into search "Normal Instant Messaging Convo LOL ROFL LMAO"

  • Check "Who is a total tool who believes something because there's this magical thing on the internet that I watched and now I'm so much more aware and smarter than everyone so I must spread the word!"

Hydrogen is a much more reliable source.

I'm not adverse to electric motors in things, but the best things out there either combust/detonate or expand (pneumatics).

The the "Big 3" don't even give a care. They make cars for other countries and military. They will always have money.

  • IF they have soo much $ why is teh govt bailing them out?

this isnt the only place i get my info PS im a woman not a man numb nuts

hydrogen might b "more reliable but it costs more to produce.

    LMAO

  • It doesn't cost more to produce. Electricity comes from somewhere, it costs money to produce also. I can make hydrogen in my garage or basement.

The reason we haven't changed over is not due to money grubbling, it's due to reliability. The piston engine is tried and true, and the wankel too, AND the turbine engine.

I didn't at any point say you were a male or female, but now that I know it makes more sense. Women tend to get overly defensive and emotional about these things.....

  • Most chemtrailers are women, too.

  • Solar Panels aren't very efficient.

They don't make enough power to do anything much considering the small space you'd have to work with.

And if you don't want to pay for electricity, go live in the damn woods. -_-

OR DO SOME SCIENCE AND BUILD YOUR OWN POWER MAKIN' MACHINE.

  • ur basing ur answers on older technology, they are always improving the efficiency, if dont KNOW they have companies in my hometwn that build them & other green technologies as well.

ur message is BS, many ppl live off the grid especially at a cottage when it costs more to link hydro in a rural area, seems u dont have any personal knowledge of the subject at all.

  • ITs not that i dont want to pay 4 electricity its that i know WHERE mine comes from & I want to contribute to cleaner nrg,

Also IF i got a blackout I wouldnt care would i, how soon some of us forget the big blackout .. or do u live someplace that wasnt affected???

we are getting more wind turbines but still using nuclear & coal neither is CLEAN.

  • Nuclear energy is clean.

    Coal is just plain SHIT.

Yes there is always newer technology, but solar isn't the way to go. Wind power and Ocean generators are neat ideas and could work on small scales, but ultimately "green" freaks don't understand the concept of proper energy generation.

    They're also all crazy.

  • your ignorance is overwhelming cause u picked a "cool" name doesnt mean u know anything

nuclear gives u clean air but WHERE are ur storing the waste numb nuts?

yes costs to products electricity but it cost more to produce hydrogen that s was my point & there isnt any infrastructure to supply.thats it was tried already & axed.

electric car was there in the begining.

i can tell u lack sex, get outta ur parents basement & get a job so u can get a gf/bf thats after u get some manners re woman.

  • a) I DUN NO. YOU SHOULD PROBABLY TELL ME WHERE WASTE GOES...

    b) Yes. Hydrogen is produced by ionizing water, therefor separating the hydrogen and oxygen. It costs electricity. However, batteries hurt the environment too, and the gains are just too small. I mean, the Volt tries hard, but it's still churning fuel.

    c) What the fuck shit is that supposed to be about? I have a job, my girlfriend lives with me, and we live in a place of our own...

  • I mean honestly. This is really what women do. They get all riled up and then start throwing out emotional comments and shit.

There's actually this thing where like... okay, you see someone who's decorated their car with like bumper stickers and whatnot, they did that cause it's personalizing their car... the problem is that if you do something they don't like like say not honking cause you love something, they get all offended and take it personally.

This is what women do WITH LIFE.

  • Righto, QuantumCarl.

As a man with a BSc in Energy Management, no psychological problems, and as a self-identifying "green freak" I take exception to that comment.

Do you know that Spain now generates over 1/4 of their electricity from wind? Its not what I'd call "small scale".

Look at PV in Germany. Look at Wind in northern Europe and China.

When you kids find some Lyndon La Rouche or similar and stop reading about anything but nuclear, from the Pro side only, you sound like fools.

  • Seriously, if I didnt see this video and I saw that thing passing me at 370km/h on a highway I would think its an alien or something.

  • Nice HP and top speed. Unfortunately range is pathetic - 200 km after 10 hours of charging? Battery tech needs to improve. Also, what's up with electric cars being ugly? Tesla Roadster proves that they can look cool. Bugatti Veyron proves that four wheels are enough for 1001 HP car to go 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. Make it look normal, and people will want to buy it.

  • how about learning about the Car before posting? This car is a "experiment". It is not even been considered to become a commercial car(yet). Btw the design is awesome, reminds me those cars from the movie,Gattaca.

  • xebecv was right its an ugly design ...maybe intresting but no way awesome!!and if its an experiment it has to be ugly first and then what ...changed into a merc lolol ...couse usually they do copy european design ...whay are u so angry anyway he was right in every facts he talk about u on the ather hand ...u just like the film gattaca ...u go and study about cars ..and not from movies lol

  • just like weapons, this car is like the p90 of guns, ugly as all hell, all 100% performance

  • The P90 isn't a bad looking gun.

The 1911 with a huge end on it like in that movie Wanted. That's some crappy stuffins.

  • Well put!

  • Excelent work !!! Congratulations !!!

  • how many li ion batteries are there

  • I saw 3 trucks fully loaded with used mobiles pulling away frome their garage just the other day. Could it have some connection to your question?

  • One.

It's got the same mass as the moon.

  • Great car, but i don think that it can go in the top 10 fastest cars in the world because i dont want it to lolz(nooooooo if this tank like thing gets in the top 10 pagani zonda F will be gone!)

  • Any vehicle will hit a high speed given enough time.

    It's drivability.

Plus, this has an engine on each wheel which is EIGHT engines.

It doesn't look like it would roll very well through a crowded city. Lots of blind spots.

I would imagine, too, that if you owned this you could have no friends, seeing as it's ugly as tits.

  • that looks like penelopy's pink thunderbirds car. 5, 4, 3, 2, yes M'Lady!

  • I RATHER BUY ME AND OLD CAR FOR 1 GRAND.

  • they need to work more on the look of the car, then people will definately like it!

  • Go Tesla!!!

  • great job, keep it up.

  • We need something to get away from those dangerous expensive LiON batteries. BTW, this is a joke. The Tesla is less han 1/2 the cost and an awesome car, and its available NOW

  • elicia is till in production, the tesla is already done with production, just wait and you will see

  • this is more practical than the Tesla hence the all wheel drive and extra seats and space. Once it goes into production it should cost a lot less.

  • I would imagine you'd need a special license to drive this.

It also seems large. Wonder if it'll work in a proper city.

  • Nah you don't need a special license... just a VERY large wallet.

  • License is all about axle's and air bakes.

  • The Tesla doesn't last very long.
