  • This is not a tattoo this is a Henna In Arabia

  • @Jemcash - In English the Henna stain - is referred to as a tempory tattoo....therefore it is not like the real tattoo.....

  • Nice ...

  • pretty, but a waste of money..i mean really she picked one of the worst places you could ever get a tattoo, it's gonna fade pretty easily..

  • @MsBehaved666 - well actually it is one of the best places to do henna tattoo..the palm of the hand is normally warm and therefore the stain is strong.....proved and tested.

  • Ur nails are very good. Are you from India? I feel that you have a good combination of nails and mehendi. You can email at vkaul1@yahoo.com where we can work on some good advertisements if your are interested.

safe for the skin.....(l use glue from Asian shops)....even though l have not reseached further into - to know that if these are safe for the skin or not....therefore when l finshed this designed - it was wash off quite quick....

  • o that's cool so douse the glitter and jewels come off when u wash ur hands

  • yes...everything comes off...after you wash your hands....

  • how did u get the colors like that and the glitter

  • I use my own Artistic technic in applying the colours overlapping them with glitter.....and the different coloured glitter is also overlapped over different colours of glitter.....and as you can see the whole design is just not about colour or glitter is also has lots of added jewels.....

  • Aimee, This Mendi Art is Beautiful. How can I do it & still have it not inhibit my Performance @ the Piano?

  • Penny, it takes about 1 to 2 hours to finish a design like this,It can be used on the hands - but you have to be very careful not to rub it against anything.(PS you can also buy stick ons for the hands- which are very pretty too)

  • Aimee, is there a video where you can teach the basics of your technique? I just saw it for the first time and completely loved it. What do u use to paste the stones and the glitter? Lovely art!

    Claudina

  • Aimee, I love your Mendi Art. How long does it take & could it done on the top of my hands

  • Kirkygirl, Yes it is anti bacterial, good for fungal infections, it also helps fight Respiratory infections - I believe it also kills lice too....good to use the natural thing....

  • amymint5: from my pianistic hands to your artistic hands - beauty & love. - Penny

  • Amymint5: From my pianistic hands to your artistic hands - I send you Love. Penny

  • lol -bearing in mind that oils have to be used with caution especially not to be used when 3 month pregnant...

  • I use Aromatheraphy oil such as Eucalyptus oils and tree tea oils to the henna which is added bonus to the cooling effect of the henna - the smell of the oils are healing, relaxing and uplifting emotion balances - relieves tension and stress...

  • Oooh yummy! Tea tree acts as an anti-bacterial, so on the feet means no more stinky feet! :P

  • My pianistic hands to your artistic hands =

    Love-Penny

  • Natural Henna is very cool when applied. My mother used it on the bottom of her tired feet and found it very relaxing as she suffered from swollen tired legs and hot feet.... She loved it...

  • Well thank goodness for that! I sure don't want those chemicals swimming around my my system tyvm! :P

Besides, pure henna dye by itself is cool and the natural tannins I think are good for you...or not, idk.

  • Wow this is so amazing

    you got talent :D

  • No l don't colour the paste, Thank you for your advice, at the same time l am totally aware of the toxic black used in some henna powders. I have researched into all that. It is best to buy pure henna.... Thank you for making me aware....

  • Actually Amy, on the subject of colouring the henna paste, the ingredient that makes henna paste black was banned here in Canada. It is considered really toxic, and I don't know if you do colour your paste, but it is just something to be aware of.

  • Hi Kirkygirl- I am totally aware what Black henna does, and l am totally against using this or any other coloured dyes added to henna. I use the pure Natural henna...

  • beautiful!!

  • Thanks for your comment.

  • Are those all jewels and glass beads in the henna paste? Or is the henna itself coloured? Cool!

  • yes l have used jewels and glass beads in the henna paste - I make my own glue to stick them and it can take quite a time doing this. - No the henna is not coloured - l tried that but it does not work!
