  • this cover always been scary to me

  • If anyone wants to know the complete story of Pink Floyd just watch "Which ones pink?" its a wonderful documentary on the complete story of pink floyd. You'll find that syd barrett started the band...he was a complete weirdo...no real skill just played unusual guitar methods...took too much acid, fell apart...Roger Waters wrote the wall, played bass. then got greedy, wanted to run the show, along came the man David Gilmour and made Pink Floyd what it is today. Long Live Gilmour!

  • @5822bobo. Fair do, we'll all sit down and listen to your music then, what is that ?

  • 7.Meddle

  • the best Floyd albums. in my opinion

    1. Dark Side Of The Moon

    2 .Wish You Were Here

    3.The Wall

    4.The Division Bell

    5.Animals

    6.A Momentary Lapse Of Reason

    4.Dark Side Of The Moon

    5.Obscured By Clouds

    6.Meddle

    7.The Wall

  • Awesome...

  • division bell speaks to me as no other of the pink floyd albums. thx4 this.

  • PUT DOWN THE PIPE AND ALL OTHER DRUGS YOU NIT-WITS AND GROW UP.....THERE IS MORE OUT THERE THAN PINK FLAWED.

  • @5822bobo so what brought you to this site, aside from the OBVIOUS fact of you to belittle PINK FLOYD....btw.. whens YOUR RECORD Coming out?

  • I Don´t know why you say Nick mason is a bad drummer, watch live at pompeii and you´ll se you are wrong, in fact watch the whole Pink Floyd discography, and tried to only listen the drummer.... he is part of the soul we love called Pink Floyd

  • The 1 disliker accidentally pressed dislike and then cried for an hour.

  • There are good guitar players out there, but o one can make a guitar do the things David Gilmour can, the man is a true musical genius.

  • 2:58 to 4:09 has a haunting quality to it. Its calm but sad at the same time but its my favorite part.

  • As John Keats said- A thing of beauty is a joy forever... Pink Floyd is one such rare beauty which is the only one of it's kind...

  • ya for sure...david gilmour made pink floyd what it is today..if syd barret had continued...it would be garbage music in my opinion. This is was and will be my favorite pink floyd album ever! no waters no barret!

  • @0utmax3d well i loved floyd whoever was in charge, but if you loved this, look up david gilmours solo albums. they are incredible

  • @pyromaniarules oh ya ive heard every peice of music gilmour has ever done, my dad had his two solo albums on vinyl =p

  • That's Syd Barrett on the cover.

  • Stared out the steel in your eyes? Syd.

  • This is my favorite album after The Wall! Amazing!

  • I agree, this album isn't my favourite, but is still a fantastic album. And when you try to compare it with some of today's bullshits, well... it's even better.

  • Best fricken song on the Division Bell.

  • This album isn't as bad as people make it out to be. I think when you put it next to something like Dark Side, then yeah, it's definitely inferior. But in my opinion it's still pretty good. It provides nice closure to a long and enjoyable era of music making.

  • Is this about Sid Barrett?

  • @handsomedevil98 Davis Gilmour's wife wrote most of the lyrics for this song, but thats a good question

  • I always loved this song the best off the division bell album

  • Why does this song make me feel so sad!

  • @KiliFili13 Because it's good music and good music stirs the emotions. Which of course is why it's good. Revel in it. A certain freedom comes in letting go.

  • I don't understand why people give this album such a bad rating. I do think the live guitar solos were better, but I think any Pink Floyd would choose this over the studio half of Umma Gumma.

  • this album is okay. just okay. i'm not the biggest fan of the albums after the wall honestly.

  • @jwhittle91 this is probably my 2nd favourite album, after wish you were here.

  • I have tried to listen to Pink Floyd. Cause they say that this band is so good. But really. This album sucks. If you like this music then you don't know real music and emotion. I think that Stock Aitken Waterman are much better producers.

  • @cantforgetyou you are obviously trolling bro

  • @cantforgetyou Pink Floyd is an aquired taste. Try to listen to Dark Side of the Moon or Wish You Were here then tell me that its not real music. You can't say with a straight face that Us and Them isn't a beautiful song. Not to mention that the vocals on Great Gig in the Sky is just amazing.

  • @cantforgetyou Your an idiot dude!

  • @MrCigarbob I know.

  • @cantforgetyou Man u`re not for Pink Floyd.. Is very deep & confusing music and is hard to undestand meaning. So dont judge with your template listening of this band pls.

  • @TheYoungmk I like to think deep, sometimes, but not when I'm listening music, more when I read a book or look at a documentery. I'm not a person who likes deep & confusing music. I love synths, drumcomputers, happy dance music. Sorry.

  • @cantforgetyou Happy Dance music? :(

  • This tour was my first concert ever back in 1994. Thanks Dad. <3

  • This the best I have heard from the floyd without Roger

  • 0 people on here have bad taste in music

  • I love how the album cover is two seperate faces, but if you combine it, you have a giant stone frankin Berry.

  • I had a dream this was playing in the background, it was so wierd it's made me love the song even more.

  • sounds like this song may be more about roger, than syd...wonderful song either way-and a lovely solo by the man...dave

  • the rain fell slow ...

  • Great song!

  • Such a loving song...

  • No matter who's on now, or who's been on through the years....

PINK FLOYD was, is, and always will be the GRATEST BAND OF ALL TIME!!!

    Gilmour and Waters are Geniuses!

  • immortal....

  • BY THE WAY WICH ONE IS PINK?

  • I'm guessing the song is about Syd

  • absolute class , thy greatest and willy tingling guitar , they smash it , there i said it Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • I never thought that you'd lose that light in your eyes..

  • musica para el alma...!!! solo eso puedo decir

  • Every song on this album brings tears to my eyes. It is a beautiful album that I feel everyone should listen to and take to heart. This is some of my favorite Pink Floyd.

  • Is that a fretless bass I'm hearing?

  • PINK FLOYD---''DIVISION BELL POLES APART''

  • pink floyd the greatest ever period and how ironic that their last album is also their best the division bell is just a unbelievable album

  • @jake7330

Rightfully said, they ended their album-making with a bang. The type of music in the Division Bell really brought a sense of closure to Pink Floyd, while The Dark Side of the Moon sparked the whole beginning. I love how each album uniquely has a mood of its own, according to its creation date, and the status of the band; unlike most other bands.

  • @jake7330 I wouldn't say that. Without Roger Waters the lyrics weren't as good

  • @jake7330 - i agree here ! it simply is the BEST record they did ! and no one knows it, it seems, lol

  • @jake7330

'The division bell' is a very good album, but far from masterpieces like 'A saucerful of secrets', 'Meddle' and 'The dark side...'. (Well, that was many years earlier when Waters has been the conceptual leader.)

    But I love tracks 2, 4, 7 and 11.

  • @jake7330

:O ! Division Bell is great, but all the songs are kinda similar! Dont get me wrong, its a wonderful album, but its not as good as Meddle or Dark side of the moon <3 Or Piper at the gates of dawn if you are really REALLY stoned :)

  • @jake7330 Totally agree! and its because david gilmour ran the show..wrote the lyrics, sung and played the guitar....The wall was a masterpeice..but lets face it..without gilmour there would be no pink floyd. waters just wasnt enough.

  • Pink Floyd in my personal opinion and as far as I'm concerned is, was, and will forever be the best band that ever existed in the history of music, they are my favorite band ever and will always be. From Juan Luis "John" Escamilla. Long live Pink Floyd.

  • @JohnyMcJ well said m8 im the same

  • I'm 20 years old and have been listening to Pink Floyd since I can remember, I am bombarded with memories from ages 2 to 6. dark like a dream but still clearly seen and I know theres something more to this music then what immediately hits the mind. as if a higher power is speaking to me I enjoy the ups and downs of the feelings of their songs just as I have enjoyed the ups and downs in my own adventure through this tiny little existence we call life.Thank you Mom and Dad thank you Land and Sea.

  • @levineleven11 I know EXACTLY how you feel.

  • Reminds me of the only man I'll love who died from an addiction to cocaine. It's a great song, but I find it hard to listen to.

  • @asclarice Sorry, this kind of music carries a lot of emotion. Try the first album, it's whimsical and fun.

  • @RadioUgly Thank you. I've listened to the first album, I like it. It's so different from the Pink Floyd most people are familiar with.

  • @asclarice Glad you liked it. All Pink Floyd music comes from the 1st album. even on this album Syd Barret's face is shown.

  • haha 1:28 i thought he said hey jude :P

  • simply travel ... aaah

  • 6:35 one of the most beautiful guitar riffs I've ever heard!

  • music at its damn finest

  • david glimour genious

  • juanluis62.....this is my favorite song of the division bell album, the entire album is good and so is pink floyd even without roger waters, david gilmour is the best, he is a genieous.

  • @JohnyMcJ just no comment, have no idea what to say to what i just witnesed and will continue to.
