That's looks to be one of the GTP70-52 series, rated at 160 shaft horspower continuous. Understand that a turbine's 160HP continuous is way different than a typical piston engine max horspower. A typical 160HP rated piston engine can only do that for so long before it comes apart, this engine can put out 160HP all day long with no wear to show for it. The output out of the gear reduction of the turbine would be 6,000 rpm reduced from the actual turbine spinning at 40,000 rpm.

i just sold a tiernay turbine off one of my mowers. it was supposedly 150 continuous hp and it was also out of a generator
