@1004zn of course it is hard to find gay men, there is much hatred towards homosexuals in korea, so many naturally hide it. Many people are naturally gay, it's very rare that a country naturally has any less. It's just that in some, people feel more compelled to hide it. If he was gay, and had the support of female teens even so, he could change the way things are, and homosexuals could be less hated. This is life and death. Look at the bigger picture.

In Korea, not because of the hatred towards gay people, but because of the way of growing kids, it is very true there hardly exists any doubt of own sexual identity. There are people naturally born to be gay in Korea like other countries of course, but far from them, it is very less who change sexual preference later with other reasons.

@1004zn of course it is hard to find gay men, there is much hatred towards homosexuals in korea, so many naturally hide it. Many people are naturally gay, it's very rare that a country naturally has any less. It's just that in some, people feel more compelled to hide it. If he was gay, and had the support of female teens even so, he could change the way things are, and homosexuals could be less hated. This is life and death. Look at the bigger picture.

@hiashiro1 Only because Taemin looks pretty as a girl, it also doesn't mean he could be more gay than others. In Korea, not because of the hatred towards gay people, but because of the way of growing kids, it is very true there hardly exists any doubt of own sexual identity. There are people naturally born to be gay in Korea like other countries of course, but far from them, it is very less who change sexual preference later with other reasons.

Older people are still conservative about it, but young people not. If my comments sounds strong or like against you, please don't misunderstand. I really didn't mean it. :) I'm only a little upset why people already talk like "we should understand TM's sexual preference", even though he might've ever considered about it.

@hiashiro1 TM is a Korean and as long as he is not a natural born gay, he's also been grown up without any doubt of his sexual identity. It is still very unfair to do lots of guesses only because he looks like a girl. He must have had lots of stress from being told "you look like a girl". Nowadays he doesn't say that much, but before, he used to keep saying "I want to look manly, not pretty". (Sorry if I'm writing too much...but had to say this...)

@chelra2004 you should know that we arent calling him gay, we say he might be. And this isnt because he looks like a girl, it is a vibe that he gives off. It is different then jo-kwon, heechul, and all of the gay highlights. We know nothing of his childhood, nothing of his life really, so we say, because of a hunch, that we support him regardless. If you object to this then you are nothing but a homophobic, or just scared that he might actually be gay.

I had gay friends when studying in London & I wonder my friends would feel very happy about this kind of guesses about someones' sexual identity from simple hunch even with fan loving heart. I know fans are saying "regardless of sexual preferene" or "even though you are a gay", all from true love & support, but it's also like partly admitting it already to unknown people and TM couldn't even have a chance.

Like my mom, she's a big fan of Taemin & Jo Kwon, but never thought they might be homosexual. This kind of thing is country's culture & you might not understand. I know a few and they say they have to hide it from everyone even some of their closest friends because things will get really bad if they don't. I want korea to open up, even if it is a cultural change. So I strongly hope some idol is homosexual, and will have the support of their fans so that they will make this change.
