  • Neil's kit retails for 5.6 million.. lol

  • Drawing metal out of the cymbals by cleaning them and that caused them to break?

That's like saying a building would collapse if you remove the paint!

Maybe he cleans the cymbals with sandpaper or an angle grinder.

  • The Canucks kit isn't anything like his other kits size wise but it still looks sgood.

  • That kit would have the police over in short order.

  • hell yeah he hits hard!

  • the cymbals are amazing

  • What is that new studio version of Spirit of Radio from?

  • There's trouble with the maples... and they're quite convinced they're right..

  • Maybe it's me, but I feel the purple neon takes away from all the craftsmanship that went into this kit. I would love to see it under standard light or possibly an amber shade.

  • Dear TAMA. I'm gonna throw it in you at 5:13. Thanks!! Lorne.

  • OMG great kit!

  • I wish he'd bang me as hard as he bangs his drums.

  • Neil's "Roll the Bones" blue-shadow Ludwig kit is the most beautiful kit I've seen to date!

  • I'm a huge Rush/Neil fan BUT, I don't think that the DW's compare to Ludwigs or Neil's old Tamas in character. Neil's black R30 kit sounded terrible--the higher toms sounded like toy tinny drums.

  • What a great job being Neils drum tech. I would give my left arm to hang with these guys for a day on tour.

But then again if I did I couldn`t play my drums lolol Rush is such a true band. Rock on!

  • i hate this bald guy

  • @ProgDrummerJG actually its not a knockoff. its from a CD that came with a booklet of drum tabs to rush songs. it is a play-along cd, and includes the tracks with and without drums

  • @Zombieman27 Can you reveal the title of this cd? I would like to hunt it down - also, are there other's that you know about?

    Thanks,

    HILLBILLEE

  • @HILLBILLEE111 the artist is "Alfred Music Publishing" and the Album is titled "Rush - Drums UPA"

  • So this is basically an electric drum set?

  • @videotitan1 NO.. half of it is :P

  • @videotitan1 No

  • am i the only one who thinks this kit is ugly?

  • @jarbas4006 FUCK YOU!!!!

  • @jarbas4006 nope

  • @jarbas4006 maybe.. its a "steam punk" concept... really cool !!!

  • what this man does with this kit..... unreal

  • the cymbals have a personalized mystic symbols ....

  • too much of that dudes head and not enough of the set,and as far as steam punk goes they missed it by along shot, every drum has the same design...it needs to look like it was pulled together from a junk yard,oh well Neil still is The Man!

  • MAPLE SHELL'S??? THEM DAMN MAPLE'S NEED TO QUIT BITCHIN' ABOUT THE OAK'S!!!!!MAPLE'S WIN IN THE END......

  • @westone4u OPPRESSION!!!

  • @westone4u I see what you did there...

  • once you hit 88 bpm you travel in time. i didnt see the flux capacitor though lol.

  • Fuck Yeah! Props to Neil's Drum Tech, without him Neil would have to work twice as hard and would Not be able to play.

  • do yourself a favor and enlarge and pause @ 3:22. i sat for 10 min. air drumming on neils kit. took a pic of it w/ my phone now its my wallpaper. a very sweet kit indeed. looks to pretty to pound.

  • I dig that sticker @ 8:36 RIGGA WHAT? lol

  • ele e o melhor do mundo

  • Anyone know the size of the cymbal at 2:12? It's Neil's "workhorse" cymbal that's mounted to his kick. It looks like a 16", but it may be a 14". Just curious. Please let me know if you do. Thanks.

  • @phishinvan If you go to sabian.com you can find Neil's kit

  • @phishinvan It's a 16"

  • @ShowgunSam I thank you.

  • His team LOST the finals! GOOOOOO BRUINS!!!!

Also Rush is awesome and Neil Peart is one of the best

  • still looking for the sabian stapler

    /watch?v=c0ITxq-FTLs

  • @ProgDrummerJG fuck off

  • HAHA! Stunning kit!

If you fellow drummers are interested, there's one kit I know of that is equally as quality as Neil's. Carl Palmer's (2 ton in weight!) Stainless Steel kit. It has (HAND ETCHED with a dentist's drill) hunting scenes on it, hahaa! 8 diff. engineering companies were involved in making it (he was sponsored by British Steel).t.

YouTube search for Carl Palmer talks Steel Drum kit ELP Emerson Lake & Palmer Touring 70s. also: Carl Palmer Showing Off His Drums-1974-Aquarius :-)

  • Every detail, from the etchings on the cymbals and "gauges" on the cymbal tilters go along with the time-machine theme. Awesome.

I wonder how pissed Tama was when Peart left?! haha

  • @flybywire09 According to what Neil said (in one of the tour booklets - Power Windows, I think), when Tama found out Neil was planning to switch to Ludwigs, they offered to make Neil a set that sounded exactly like Ludwigs. Sort of pointless, right?

  • How cool is that! The Professor deserves nothing less! Very exciting!

  • This is exactly why we need another punk rock revolution.

  • @jstohler ??

  • jiiiiihaaaa

  • If they gave out Oscars for "Best Drum Kit", DW, Roland, Sabian, Pro-Mark & Neil should get an award. I am a huge fan of RUSH, but even if I wasn't, I'd have to say this is by far and large the biggest "Master Piece" of a drum kit I've ever seen. Damn thing needs to go in a museum after the tour's over. It's a serious work of art!

  • @drum1805 terry bozzios kit is INCREDIBLE!

  • @megaDorkZ Terry's kit is HUGE, but not near as cool as this kit. Look at the detailing in the hardware, cymbals, toms, even the riser. That said, Terry's kit is pretty neat.

  • @drum1805

true. but if both kits somehow had a baby, my head would implode!

  • just noticed Neil/Lorne ditched the old "Squirrel-caged fans" in favour of new technology
