  • haha .. Subscribe to Fred has millions of views but this cool video only has 10,000 ...

    Cool video anyhow

  • you pause then go to 3:00, sharp. lol

  • 2:21 instead of sprinkling a little salt, can I use a pastry brush to cover the crackers with some home-made flavourings? bbq, chicken & what not...

  • great video, really enjoyed it.

  • i'll go with the first way xD

  • I put mine int the oven for ten minutes and took them out. They were still soggy. You sure you just put em in the oven for 10 minutes? Seems odd not turning it on and all. . .

  • @spookedjunglist what temperature did u use?

  • @PhantomAct I followed the recipe. It said to put them in the oven. However it did not mention turning it on. This video is a good example of how a quality produced video can fail just by leaving out simple details. However all the author needs to do is update the video description to include left out details to be top quality.

Obviously if you put something in an oven that is not on for ten minutes it will come out the same as it went in.

  • @spookedjunglist Just answer the question.. No need to rant, he probably assumed u knew about pre-heating. As for 10-15min, u should check croissants oven temperature & time.

  • What does the oven need to be set to?

  • i like the 2nd way!

  • i buy my chrackers for 1€

    but its so funny

  • Holy crap and I have been getting my crackers at the dollar tree!

  • Please come over and blow on all of my cooking utensils.

  • fool!

  • like that!

  • Thanks-those crackers look good - appreciate the recipe - I am off to bake.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour, more as needed

    1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup finely grated fresh Parmesan cheese

    4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/4 cup cream or half-and-half, more as needed

Coarse salt, pepper, sesame or poppy seeds, minced garlic or whatever you like for sprinkling (optional).

  • For sanitary reasons I'll be breaking my crackers the first way.

  • I realize you are a minimalist, Mr. Bittman, but for those who haven't read your column (s) the amounts of each ingredient would be a nice touch for these clips.

  • nice ,

  • You're so crazy! Those crackers looked great. Need recipe please.

  • It's nice but I'd like to know what the ingredients' measurements are- is it a stick of butter or a pound of butter? Is it a cup of flour or 3 cups? How much cream, how much water, salt, cheese?

  • great video
