hi, you need to buy a chromatic tuner and tune the guitar every time you play it.

every time i do the hammer on on the c cord the vibration from the string touches my ring finger and it mutes it out

can u tell me a good way to avoid that?

just take your time with the hammer on, play it slowly at first and try and get it right, then play it faster and you will eventually get the hang of it pal.
