i think that people should stop criticizing these kids, because they tried the best they did. Its not like we make these films, so people should not hate. Think about it...maybe they didn't have the possibility of getting WW2 toy guns. For kids, it was pretty good and interesting to watch. The costumes were good. Also the AK began to be created beetween 1944-1946, but finally presented to the military forces and used by the soviets in 1949

I like this movie, reminds of being 10 years old when I lived at my grandparents and during the summer I would go to the neighbor girl's house almost every day and we would play army guys in the woods with sticks for guns. It took some imagination to pretend there were bad guys surrounding us and that our sticks were M16's. And some times we would bring food out there and pretend they were rations :P That girl was my best friend, and she was the first girl I ever kissed :)

TBF at first i didnt know what was happening, there was a chronological fail 2:00 (Uzi was placed, they werent around back then) and the Thompson hasnt been analysed, the Thompson kills the actors too easily man, the thompson isnt at all powerful, it kill pentrate a wet pillow, and at that range it would take 10 rounds to kill... none the less, if you encorporate these issues into your films, you will do really well.

Effects were very good, however the details were a bit unconvincing. The American with shoulder length hair that made him look even younger... The rifles were pretty good for a budget, but the German weapons weren't very accurate, and the biggest thing was that you didn't hold them like weapons. They had no sense of weight to them, you kind of threw them around like toys. Another detail was the shoes. You could have added so much more realism just by wearing boots instead of tennis shoes.
