  • Fuck..... well timed!!! nice hit!

Props for the sabres for not going after Boychuk I guess and realizing it was a clean hit. If it was against the Bruins there would be a bench clearing brawl. lol

  • @gohabs1119 Yes but you have to admit it's a smart thing to do. When somebody on the Bruins gets hit hard, his teammates stick up for him. What nobody realizes is that it prevents the opposing player and other opposing player to somebody hard on the Bruins in the future because they know it'll start a brawl. By doing this, it prevents big hits, which prevent injuries, which goes in the Bruins favor. Get it? It's a nice method to the madness.

  • every dirty play video that i've watched today involved the bruins.....Dirty team...dusty ass cup.

  • @me106z haha sore loser

  • @me106z have to say that that's just not true my man. look at the dirtiest players in hockey - matt cooke, todd bertuzzi, (as a blackhawks fan i hate to say it but...) dan carcillo, raffi torres. Man, sometimes the bruins take heat for being physical, but they're mostly not dirty. this hit was perfectly legal - no targeting of the head, didn't throw his elbow, never left his feet... There are plenty of other teams much dirtier than the bruins.

  • @me106z you obviously dont know what hockey is you sh*thead. whats wrong with that hit??? not to the head. open ice. he just got bundled.

  • Thats right cafucks fans keep checkin out Boston videos cause your players are a bunch of fuckin pussies and wanna know how a real team plays hockey. Go burn down your city again faggots.

  • @SByankee23 tell em how it is

  • Rocked his ass

  • Hell yea!!!

  • Rat*

  • Look at marchand being a cheap ass big nosed jew ray clipping players because hes to pussy to take a hit.

  • one plug destroying another plug

  • Doesnt help that ellis is 5'9

  • @TopCheeseSnipe so? look at marchand out there, taking and dishing out hits and people rag on him

  • Shoulder to the head...

  • @buffalolacrosse0888 Maybe Ellis should keep his head up when he's skating with the puck up the middle of the ice WITH THE PUCK

  • @BleedBoston ...could say the same to some of the Boston guys who have been smoked and then cry about it...

  • @angusandleigh Are you talking about the Marc Savard hit? Because that one is TOTALLY different. Matt Cooke came in from Savard's blindside and hit him shoulder first into the head. Keep bitching bro. Fuck off.

  • @BleedBoston ...no i was talking about the hit on Horton...the only difference was it was late...and barely...or even when Subban wiped out Marchand...Boston doesn't like it when they have the big hit put on them...period...you're a Bruins fan...you won't understand...

  • @buffalolacrosse0888 you wish...CLEAN, SOLID HIT

  • This is mans hockey where everybody on the other team doesn't go after Boychuk for a clean hit

  • I'm a Montreal Canadiens fan and I really hate the Bruins, but I have to admit that Johnny Boychuk is one of the most underrated Defensive D-Man in the league. I'd love to see him in Montreal with Alexei Emelin.

  • OUCH!

  • johnny MANchuk

  • Lmao he got wrecked!

  • fuckin sick

  • K-O !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Very similar hit to...BRIAN CAMPBELL!!!

  • Very similar hit to....BRIAN CAMPBELL!!!

  • Head down? SIT DOWN!

  • It's so weird that no one went after boychuk lol everyone saw the hit

  • @MuSiCkWoRlD1 you kidding, buffalo cant fight. Boychuk would wreck

  • I'm suprised he didn't passout after that shot.

  • Keep your head up what a rookie

  • BITCH U JUST GOT KNOKED THE FUCK OUT!!!!

  • exact same spot as the campbell/umberger hit, except ellis was conscious

  • if only he scored on that slapper, that'd be one of the best 10 seconds of his life

  • Thts why you don't put your head down in hockey..and since the bruins lost a couple nights ago we better start burning down our city for a losing a hockey game..fuck u Vancouver

  • @frankiewelter Do everyone a favor and burn your city down and make Sure Jack Edwards is right in the mist of it.

  • @frankiewelter Your a fuckin idiot, we didnt burn down our city you fucking goof. Shut the fuck up boston fan

  • @frankiewelter Hey you here about lucic's church, Terrible fan base...fuck u vancouver "canuks" I spelt it wrong, just like the idiots who spelts it wrong on his church.

Im well aware that it is canucks.

  • @BruinsLegend

    Date Joined Jan 27, 2012

    The bandwagon just got heavier.

  • @frankiewelter "Thts why you don't put your head down in hockey"

    tell that to horton

  • @gfsfg111 word! hahaha

  • @frankiewelter that all you got?

  • @frankiewelter Calm down, btw that was a pretty nice hit, atleast I have some class to complement a nice play, not that I would expect any classless fans like you to do the same.

Boychuk is pretty solid though defently gotta keep your head up or he will step up on ya

  • be so much sicker if boychuk scored

  • great hit, if anyone did that to a bruin, the whole team would be on top of him in less than a second

  • johnny manchuck

  • @89apaul that comment made my day

  • love how no one from Buffalo stood up to him. fucking retarded

  • anyone else notice that Canucks fans find any Boston video of them destroying someone, just to talk shit and try to claim the Bruins are dirty?

keep looking for your "evidence" that the cup champs are dirtier than your squad of clitblisters, Riot-town.

  • I WAS THERE

  • @GhraakGaegoyle you can call the bruins anything you want but if you call them talentless you sir don't watch hockey much do you. and as for cocky, i'd damn hope so because they won the cup.

  • Buffalo needs to stick up for their team man, they must hate eachother

  • boom got ya go cry to your momy little boy

  • Tupac said it best, Keep Ya Head Up

  • Its a clean hit dont bitch because one of your players was skating through the neutral zone with his head down he should know thats suicide espically when boychuck or lucic are on the ice.

  • people need to understand that just because the Ellis gets hurt on an open ice hit doesnt make it cheap its the game of hockey

  • Bruins are such goons. You'd think the commentators ejaculated when he hit Ellis.

  • @ShadowWolf9 So clean hits = goons? You make me laugh.

  • @GewehrGod No, goons refers to dirty, unsporting players that don't deserve the identity of the original six. While this may be a clean hit, it's the genera; vibe and ideology of the Bruins that is so scummy.

  • JOHNNY MANCHUK

  • this happened too me in bantam hockey! it sucked. i got carried off in a strecher

  • Love the crowd!

  • What a clean hit, people stop hating on a clean hit bec its a big one.

  • It was a clean hit but his shoulder still hit his head. No buggy I don't give a shit. i don't care for either team. Especially pussy Boston.

  • @GhraakGargoyle Principal point of contact is not the head.

  • @GhraakGargoyle the only pussy is u

  • @GhraakGargoyle yup, those pussy Bruins are always up at the top in fighting majors....wait a minute, how does that make them pussies again?

  • @BruinsFan2347 They take runs at players for no good reason. They spazz out and attack players who don't deserve it. They attack the wrong players. And the biggest part, and most evident during Vancouver vs Boston games, they only go after the goal scorers and not the fighters.

  • @GhraakGargoyle Vancouver has no fighters, they are all pussies and the entire NHL has deemed them the most hated team. Hope Couver goes to the cup this year so boston can beat them again and have all the cannucks set fire to buildings and shit

  • @GhraakGargoyle What's that? You idiots went 6 on 1 on Shawn Thornton? How did he deserve that? Burrows bit Bergeron? Rome concussed Horton? Lapierre is just a total fag? Weise backed down from a fight to draw a penalty? How does any of this make your team any less dirty or goonish than the Bruins? I'm waiting....

  • @BruinsFan2347 You Boston whores keep calling Weise a pussy by backing down. Maybe you and the Bruins are too braindead to realize he fucking tricked you and you fell for it like a bunch of children. Oldest trick in the book because your cocky, talentless shits who are retarded. Burrows didn't hit burgeron. It was a fucking love tap on the shin that (of course) the bruins spazzed out about.Thornton made an unprovked attack. Then u Boston fans call Canucks pussies who dont defend..

  • @GhraakGargoyle um i said, "BIT" as in Burrows chewed on Bergeron's right index finger, and there is something called "The Code" that says if Weise accepts a fight, then backs down, then he is an honorless bitch. And sure, I'm not saying that they can't defend their teammates, just have one guy fight Thornton, not the whole damn team. Last, I'm pretty sure that YOUR shit team lost to US, so your whole fanbase can shove it

  • @BruinsFan2347 ... their teammates yet they just did. You Boston fans are a bunch of whiners and complainers when ur shit team loses and then you say the same bout other teams because you are hypocrits.

  • @GhraakGargoyle Well, if we are a shit team....then what are the Canucks who lost to us?

  • @GhraakGargoyle Yeah 5 on 1 is defending a teammate when they decide to poke someone with their stick, blade first. Weise still got a fucking delay of game penalty because he opened his cocksucker in front of the fucking ref before the faceoff asking Thornton if he wanted to go. All I hear from Vancouver fans is a bunch of butthurt shit about how Vancouver was the better team. If they were the better team, why the fuck did they lose then? Thanks for coming, you plug.

  • @magich8ball You know what is the funniest part? I just proved that you are exactly what you "accuse" Canuck fans of being. You just proved that you are truly the butthurt, whiny, complaining, pussies that you say the Canucks are. PS: What is "defending your teammate" then? I don't understand your logic. 5 on 1, 20 on 2, 2 on 1, what's the difference? Defending your teammate is defending your teammate. Suck it up mate! PS: Oh again I won't repeat that Boston won because they are a dirty team.

  • @magich8ball Rome, Burrows and Ballard are great humanitarians of course. The only dirty hit Boston has made over the last 2 years was Marchand's hit on your guy. He was suspended. Chara's and Lucic's hits were both accidental, and I'll show you many other incidents all over the NHL that were similar. The Bruins do play a physical breed of hockey, with GREAT goaltending, hence the wins. However dirty is synonymous malicious. Those things the bruins aren't.

  • @Johnnydmb23 My guy? What are you talking about? Do you think I'm a Canucks fan? Seriously? Come on now. I've been a Bruins fan since about 1981.

  • @magich8ball I didn't mean to reply on your comment. Sorry.

  • @GhraakGargoyle It's Hockey.. Do you really think they scheme up a master plan to go after a certain group of players.. no, with these guys its monkey see monkey do. They just hit everyone!

  • How crazy would it have been if he scored right after.

  • Nope, I am not a Bruins fan, but I will agree, that was a damn nice hit. And it was actually clean!

  • that reminded me of a scott stevens hit. thats saying ALOT

  • HERES JOHNNY!!!!

  • @CollaborativeEdit Jack Edwards FTW!

  • Hahaha, look at him skate off. Doesn't have a clue.

  • Brickley is THE best color guy in the NHL.

  • How many times have I stressed this in Hockey? ALWAYS KEEP YOUR HEAD UP!

  • Johnny Manchuck.

  • "you can keep the puck i just took your dignity"

  • Welcome to the playoffs rook. That's why we won.

  • 2nd favorite playoff game i've been too

  • typical Buffalo hockey... playing with their heads down and going back to the locker room to cry every time they get hit... Buffalo sucks, Ryan Miller sucks, BRUINS RULE!!

  • @NHLBruinsFan2011 Typical Bruins fan. We can hit anyone but when someone does it to us, we scream bloody murder. Another typical Boston "fan" only a "fan" after they win a title.

  • @iamthelawdredd Are you refering to the Matt Cooke hit? that was worthy of a hefty suspension, plus calling all Bruins fans bandwagon fans discredits all fans anywhere, the more successful the team the more the fans...do you not understand that concept?

  • @Redsoxftw424 So that makes you a bandwagon fan?

  • @iamthelawdredd No I am not, but it is not fair to generalize is my point. To say all fans are bandwagoners discredits true fans and what they have been through with their team, it discredits all real fans

  • @iamthelawdredd hey, don't hate Boston for being the best sports city in the world :)

  • wow must be hard to hit someone that shouldnt even be in the ahl

  • @anderbuddy must be hard to be a retard

  • beautiful hit, dont skate with your head down, kids

  • Johnny Manchuk

  • someone need to jump Boychuck cause that is what Boston does after they get hit!!

  • @villanova85 They back their shit up and knock motherfuckers down unlike some pussy ass teams for instance yours as we can tell

  • Great hit, this is game and shouldnt cry.

  • Not Johnny Boychuk. Johnny MANchuk

  • Manchuk

  • I am not a fan of Boston, but I have to admit, Boychuck gave one of the nicest checks I have seen in a while. Good on him.

  • matt ellis' first thought... when did the zamboni come out here?

  • Perfection!

  • Notice the immediate and emphatic Buffalo response.

  • i give him credit for not being a bitch and laying there...he got right back up

  • Johnny Boychuk is one of the best clean hitters. People need to shut the fuck up that he is a dirty hitter. Now if you look at Matt Cooke, that's another story...

  • hits comes from boychuck

  • i have played hockey since i was 4yrs old actually. montreal has so many championships because they won most of them when there were only 5 other teams to beat. buffalo fans know nothing about football ill give you that. the team has been terrible for all but 5yrs of their existance. they seem to know their stuff about hockey (other than not realizing that lindy ruff is retarded). the sabres have had shit ownership since the knox family gave it up. the new owner seems to want to win

  • @njduquette I agree that ownership is a big factor in a franchises success. But it's typically the fan base that puts the pressure on them to succeed. Buffalo's new owner does seem to want to win. They had the most impressive offseason acquisitions, bringing in Regehr, Erhoff, and Leino. But they're tied for 7th in the conference, & in a salary cap league, you can't buy a Cup. You need to build a complete club. Buffalo has the goalie and talent up front, but needs more grit to be a contender.

  • @BoSoxnation1972 i think the biggest factor is the coach. he seems to make players stop doing what they do best whether its hitting scoring playing D etc. i think think they are only missing a few pieces; a center, a tougher winger, swap one of the 5 offensive D we have for another gritty guy back there and i think you got it....but even with the team now i think if you get rid of the coach they would go a couple rounds...not win it all but at least make a push

  • @njduquette Yeah, a power forward like Lucic or Backes, plus a solid stay at home d-man like Adam McQuaid. I also think they need a 4th liner who can step in & fight when people are playing them physically. Not a useless 4th liner like Laraque. Montreal tried that, & it was a failed experiment. They need a tough guy that can actually play a regular shift, like Shawn Thornton, or even a D-Man like Matt Carkner of Ottawa.

Ruff took them to 2 conference finals & 1 cup final. He's not the issue IMO.

  • @BoSoxnation1972 it seems like in every interview he is complaining about refs and calls and bounces and always preaches dont get too high on the highs and dont get too low on the lows. i think he turns his players into emotionless robots. it also seems like every yr there are a few players that who in the past put up good numbers just stop producing then when they leave they go back to normal like macarthur, afinogenov, torres, zubrus. (stafford and leino so far this yr)

  • @njduquette Leino was overrated to begin with.Only 1 decent year in Philly- only 19 goals in 81 games. Hardly a sniper! Before last year, he had only 17 career goals in 123 games. Briere & Hartnell gave him a lot of room in Philly.

Torres has been consistently going down since he was in Edmonton.

MacArthur scored 17 for Buffalo at 23. He only had 4 more goals playing for Toronto where he gets significantly more ice time in 10-11. Zubrus had 4 goals in 19 games, better than his career average!

  • @njduquette Afinogenov scored 20 goals 3 times in Buffalo. He beat his career high by 1 goal last year, but he plays on a terrible team, get's more ice time, and had a career worst MINUS 17 as his plus minus rating.

I think I understand you can get frustrated when yuo bring in a player who you have expectations from, and they don't deliver. We got Kevin Stevens years ago, and he was a bust! Same with Claude Lapointe. But we also signed Zdeno Chara and Marc Savard, who exceeded expectations.

  • @njduquette How about that, Bruins fan agreeing with Canadians fan...:)

  • @BoSoxnation1972 You can buy a cup. Daddy Campbell did it for the Bruins

  • @iamthelawdredd Sniff, sniff..........Need a box of Kleenex?

  • @Jiltedin2007 Yeah to wipe the jizz off I shot all over you.

  • @iamthelawdredd Are you gay or something? Maybe you are jealous because we got the Cup. BUFFALO SUCKS!

  • @iamthelawdredd How so? Did "daddy Campbell" play net for Boston? Because Tim Thomas is the biggest reason Boston won the cup. 8 goals in 7 games? That's beyond sick.

  • disciplinary committee until the Mason Raymond hit, which was ruled a fluke injury. People who complain about hits or routine penalties where flukish injuries happen, are morons.

Matt Hunwick of the Avs hit Savard into the boards, after Marc came back from a concussion, and while the hit deserved a boarding penalty, that's all it deserved. I don't fly off the handle and become irrational because he might never play again. There was no intent from Hunwick. Unlike you, I understand the difference!

  • he can shoot, he can fight, he can check. hes just an aewsome player

  • i love the bruins

  • Clean hit, just had his head down. Love to see a hit when he doesn't jump at him

  • @TeozSeven that wasnt a jumping motion. Boychuk lowered his shoulder, perfectly clean

  • i like the big hits when the players skates dont leave the ice

  • It would of been so sick if he scored on that slapshot after it!

  • it looks like ellis tried to start the wave

  • this awesome clean hit was over shadowed by the two hander he gave to vaneks knees...or as the boston announcers put it "vanek losing an edge"

  • @njduquette What planet are Sabres fans on? They are the whiniest cunts in the NHL! Boychuk hooked Vanek, and then slashed the stick trying to prevent a breakaway chance, causing Vanek to fall, and he smashed his knee going into the boards. It was an unfortunate injury, but there's nothing dirty about that play. The stick never even made contact with him! LOL

Now go wash the sand out of your vagina!

  • @BoSoxnation1972 i tried to put the link with the comment to make it easier for you, i know youre a little simple minded but it wouldnt let me so you may have to seach boychuk slashes vanek

  • @njduquette Vanek hurt his LEFT KNEE. Boychucks stick never went near it! Seeing the slow mo replay, it did hit his right knee, however, that's not the knee that was hurt! Try not listening to a CBC announcer, and instead watch him skate off carrying his left leg in the air with all his weight on his right leg! Then read the injury report. His LEFT KNEE was what he hurt crashing into the boards.

It's also clear that Boychuck was trying to slash his stick. There's clearly no intent.

  • @BoSoxnation1972 no shit i didnt say which knee was hurt. he hurt it when he went in the boards. but that wouldnt have happened if he wasnt swinging his stick like an axe. and he was two strides behind him there was no way he was going to reach his stick. he realized he was beat and took him out.

  • @njduquette If a guy is going in on a breakaway, defensemen are constantly hacking away with their stick trying to break up a scoring chance! It happens EVERY GAME! The fact that Vanek went crashing into the boards was unfortunate, but wasn't the result of a cheap shot. It's your inability to distinguish between the 2 that makes you an idiot! Case in point-the hit by McSorley on Brashear WAS DIRTY! He deserved a years suspension! I can see past the black & gold. Can you see past your colors?

  • @BoSoxnation1972 i can "see past my colors" actually. i feel it was a dirty play. he could have hooked him, grabbed him, hit his arm, even tripped him, instead he chose to use his stick like a damn weapon and take out a guys knee. i can look at a play and say it was clean....like in my original comment when i said this was a great hit over shaddowed by him taking out a guys knee.

  • @njduquette ROTFLMAO So you believe that he "chose to use his stick like a damn weapon and take out a guys knee." You believe he intentionally targeted the knee? You just proved that you're an idiot. It's no wonder Buffalo never wins anything! Their fans are morons!

But enjoy watching hockey this year. You'll be staring up at Johnny Boychuk and the Bruins in the standings for the rest of the year!

Boychuk has never been suspended or even been before the

  • @BoSoxnation1972 did you use enough letters to let me know you found something funny? rtlofjabgijdurn. and yes he hit his knee to take him out of the play. he wasnt reaching for the puck he wasnt trying to lift his stick he wasnt trying to hook him he slashed him in the knee. and i see the relation to fans not knowing anything and the team not winning....makes sense. and i do think boston is going to repeat this yr. i never said they werent a good team you retard. good comeback tho. you got me!

  • @njduquette He was trying to slash down on the shaft of the stick so Vanek couldn't lift the puck. Have you ever played hockey? LOL

And the relationship is when you live in a city with a bunch of idiots who know nothing about sports, there's no pressure on the team to win. Why do you think that cities like Boston, Chicago, NY, Detroit, Green Bay, St. Louis, and Montreal have so many Championships?

Their fans understand the sport, and put pressure on the ownership to put out a quality product!

  • i love the playoffs

  • even if you hate the bruins you have to respect how clean boychuck hits. he could have really loaded up and destroyed ellis.

  • Head down all the way lol

  • I've been hit like that before in hockey, I've also been in a few car crashes too (not including a demo derby) let's just say there's no seat belt for getting hit like this ^

  • Rewatching this. Most big hits you see nowadays the player on the receiving end has enough forward momentum that he slides down the ice on his ass for a few seconds after getting crushed. The way Ellis stops cold shows that Boychuck's a brick wall.

  • keep your head up

  • This is the moment the series shifted in the Bruins favor EPIC!

  • Greenlight.

  • More like manchuck

  • hell of a hit. give him credit to be able to skate off after something like that

  • YEAH BOYCHUK!!!!!!!!

  • One of the best clean checkers in the NHL for sure. Love watching Boychuk hit people.

  • @Bruinsrule100 I enjoyed watching him try and hit PK Subban, and then he get beat up by Ryan White, Of course it was different when PK hit Marchand the Bruins wanted to kill him.

  • would have been better if chara hit him

  • only if he scored

  • Boychuk is a dirty player who gets no calls on charging. AMAZING i HEARD he gives great Lipchuk to the REFs!!!!!!

  • @BillGtrMan Oh haha that's a common mistake actually, but i beleive in order to get called for a charge you actually have to charge someone? I'm no referee but I am like 90% sure that is the rule.

  • @BillGtrMan As defined: Charging - Taking more than three strides or jumping before hitting an opponent. Also, it was perfect shoulder into shoulder/chest. He originally took a few strides to get going (since he was standing still), but was actually gliding when he made contact. An excellent, clean hit overall, and hits like these remind players to keep their head up!

  • Would love to see this kind of hit on Mike Richards who seems to have a habit of hitting/hurting smaller finesse players.

  • this is like stride for stride the exact same as the brian campbell hit on umberger haha

  • blowing a 3-0 series lead? kharma anyone?
