He works well in bands, wonderfully as a composer and great as a producer but he really does fail when left to his own devices a good 90% of the time. Probably due to the fact he can't sing, act and he has the worst taste in dance music imaginable.

Well, there's some recordings out there of him singing 'au naturale' at live shows and such, but I've never heard them. From the lives preformances I've seen he either sings with his voice Synthesizers or lipsyncs.

Iceman albums are practically non-existant these days, as are almost all of DA's solo albums. You can still get certain AXS ones at places like CDJapan and all, but they're mostly out of print.

As for MP3s, I mostly get mine from friends on LiveJournal or whatever. Downloading programmes would be your best bet.

If you look up some of his solo work [Most prelivant albums: the Quantum Mechanics Rainbow series] it has mostly him singing. His older stuff is hard to get, but his newer stuff is pretty good.

From personal experience, heres some good songs for getting used to his solo work[which is more 'techno' than synthpop these days]: Orange Tea Time, Deep Blue Resolution, Antares Pain, Red Anemone and Puppet Master. These are all on Youtube, I think.
