Should I see this movie or not? It looks like something familiar, yet, something eludes me here...let's see, if I see it, I could become wiser, or just have a laugh...but would that be worth it to perhaps become 'indoctrinated' by it's message? Just what is the message here? Is the man with AP really the bad guy? Will I be influenced by this movie to view games as a test of time vs principle? Should I conform? Will I implode if I make a decision?......
@winterplum Don't do it. Or maybe you should. Whatever you do, do it quickly, but first you need to consider your options. Do you know how you are going to get to the movie? what about popcorn prices? Should you hide some popcorn in your jacket and risk getting kicked out? By thinking of these questions have yoou pre-determined that you want to go? Should you stop thinking about movie theatres? Will SOPA eliminate these comments?
A friend of a friend of mine saw a preview of the unfinished movie and loved it! The tension of what that guy will or won't do is thick man. The movie starts out with 10 minutes of getting to know the characters, 15 mins of explanation of rules, 3 mins for the 4 players to go, then 48 mins of what that guy choosing his move. Not to give spoilers, but it's pretty epic! I'd say his final decision is the best move you could do in that situation.
Judging from the trailer, this theatrical debut from the Dice Tower is a lean, efficient exercise tossed off with Tom Vasel's customary sangfroid and wonderfully dry sense of humor. A name-heavy supporting cast should spell reasonably muscular returns and killer ancillary biz.
@Gastel i was talking about being totally random. throw a D6 dice and any result of 4, 5 or 6 is a positive result. if a negative, then move to the next option and repeat. problem solved.
@huntercd Wait, should you use your left hand or right hand? On the table or in a box? Should you flip it palm upwards or should you roll it palm down flinging your fingers forward? How many people should witness your roll? Who is going to read the roll and judge your decision? One roll or best of 3?
Simply brilliant!
