O come all ye old ones, Mi-Go, Ghouls and Glaaki Come foul Tsathoggua and all Nameless Ones Come Great Cthulhu, rising from the ocean O come let us implore them We really can't ignore them O come let us restore them, Great Old Ones! Their old dominion Mankind now rules blithely Stars turning overhead to mark our doom They will return here greedy and malevolent O come let us implore them We really can't ignore them O come let us restore them, Great Old Ones!
O Thou that lieth dead but ever dreameth Hear, Thy servant calleth Thee Hear me O mighty Cthulhu Hear me Lord of Dreams ! In Thy tower at R'lyeh They have sealed ye Dagon shall break Thy accursed bonds and Thy Kingdom shall rise once more Deep Ones knoweth Thy secret Name The Hydra knoweth Thy lair Give forth Thy sign that I may know Thy will upon the Earth When death dies, Thy time shall be and Thou shalt sleep no more Grant me the power to still the waves that I may hear Thy Call
O come all ye Old Ones, Mi-Go, Ghouls and Glaaki; Come foul Tsathoggua and all Nameless Ones. Come Great Cthulhu, rising from the ocean. CHORUS O come, let us implore them, We really can't ignore them O come, let us abhor them, Greath Old Ones! Their old dominion Mankind now rules blithely, Stars turning overhead to mark our doom. They will return here, greedy and malevolent.
@aktron Hehe , yups ... from one that used to sing in the church choir : if i had known these lyrics, i'd have sang them through the chorus .. in the middle of service ..
@Erilad not entirely accurate, it's not a "church" song neccessarily, as with ALL holiday songs of the recent faiths, meaning anything started after written history, it is a "parody" or alteration of a song used previously maybe even by an entirely different culture or religion.
The Atlantean Temple of Cthulhu was a Grand Jade Egyptian Styled Temple in Atlantis with a Obelisk with Cthulic Hydrographic writings it was amazing each of the Jade Cthulhu Statues had ruby eyes in each Cthulic Temple it was a part of Atlantean culture. too bad nothing is left of the Old Cult of Atlantis but Wisdom.

Both "Elder Signs" are obviously wrong. Neither Lovecraft nor Derleth was foolish enough to print a symbol of such power in its unaltered form.

No, it's like a tree, it's got branches coming off it.
I'm telling you it's a star!
Use the star? Well then you'll be fighting off the old ones with your bare hands, it's a tree!

@wizotch You're right, but the one Derleth made (the star) is much more popular than HPL's.

@sirotti1981 It's not Mi-Go, Ghouls and Glaaki. It's Ithaqua (sp?) and Glaaki.
