@Chickenkeeper24 sorry, but no it is not sped up at all, you might be seeing some weird synchronization of the rotation compared with the scan frequency of the camera or the monitor...but i did not tamper with the video at all...it is very easy to build...try it yourself. thank you for your view and comment!

The electrons that produce the magnetic field are not only "in the magnet", they are everywhere - Quantum Mechanics. Electrons in this "field" somehow force the electrons in the copper to move with them. Or have I fundamentally misunderstood the situation?

Could the motor run with an insulator on the tip of the screw, perhaps at low power?

@nachoranda well actually it can get 1 or mor magnets then put like silver color washers and mak sure there is a electrical contact between them and the battery then all you have is make the copper wire yellow in this vid

this works because the magnet has to have a conductive out coating and the washers which will have to be steel or iron will extend the magnetic field of the magnet making the washers magnetic hence making this work(i tried this while wait for a shippment of 200 neo magnets)

yours is good, but to make it faster place a disk magnet on a nail (flat ent of nail) and stick the tip of nail on positive end of battery. nest use a wire to connest the negitive end of battery and magnet

Neos magnets were from a magnetic name badge holder. The wire is a solid piece of copper wire from radio shack. The battery is from a big pink bunny playing a bass drum.
