  • I find it funny that all you geeks want to show off playing the game at high settings, however, when run through uploaders and put on youtube, it looks like like shit anyway...dorks Take this douche-nozzle xPCGamer uploading in 240p...thanks for the laugh though

  • @shadowcast27 the purpose of the video was to show the framerates !

  • lol 21 fps and low 15 ;D

i play on all the highest and ive got 30-60 fps

and the lowest was 25 fps

  • good for you guy

  • @bruschetta91 what are your specs ?

  • Vista, or DirectX10 more specifically, can use up to 8192x8192 res. textures. DirectX 9, or XP, can use 4096x4096 res. textures.

Too bad, that Crysis only uses 1024x1024 textures ^_^

  • your cpu?

  • your CPU and your ram Broke your 8800GT

  • down with fraps! check out my video and see how i broke away from that fucking program. HD and RAW files available.

  • Wow. CSS isn't playable with anything less than 30FPS but yet Crysis seems perfectly managable with 15-20 FPS. Strange.

  • game runs same as me

  • r_displayinfo 1 shows memory res and fps ! xD

  • you mean to write that in crysis terminal right?

  • is there a way to see FPS in this game without fraps or does fraps only slow down fps when it is recording?

  • what rezolution do you have?

  • hey guys u might have an answere to this.... system:q9450 oc'd to 3.8 ghz 9800gx2 overclocked 8 gig ram watercooled

hes thing i am getting 70+ fps on very high at 1680x1050 with just one 9800gx2 i am amazed at this because 2 9800gx2 in sli maxium is 80+ fps did i just get lucky or what tell me what u guys think ?

  • I like the way how it's not all on high and how to tried to go in an area that used to be in crysis extremely laggy, but after killing everything that made action, now it seems like your card is good. Please next time show us your FPS when there is 3 tanks out there and 50 KPA, I want to see your lowest FPS still be 15 :)

  • How many gb of ram and what proccesor?

  • That doesn't usually affect FPS at all...

  • uhhh...are you dumb? It USUALLY affects fps. Would you play crysis with 64MB of RAM? Would you play far cry 2 on 100MHZ??

  • a single core 2.5ghz and 512mb of ram will run this.

  • Can you give me proof? Cuz I ran crysis on my single core celeron laptop @ 2.6GHZ and 2GB of ram with geforce 6600 on as low settings as possible and got only 11FPS, which is extremely unplayable

  • The VGA is by far the most important part of the computer's ability to render graphics.... a 20$ graphic-card will not run crysis.

  • this might sound strange but i can run cysis on Core 2 duo 2.0GHz with 1GB ram running vista! i have a nvidia 8600M GS 128MB graphics card1 i get around 25frames O.o

  • Core 2 @ 2 ghz isn't bad, but then again it isn't great, that card is just terrible for Crysis and you definately need more ram, Crysis alone takes up over a gig not to mention Vista

  • got a new machine, Pentium 4 Dual core, 2GB ram, nvidia 9800GT 512MB, and it gets around 50 frames

  • not bad at all, but you downgraded cpu?

  • it was a branded cpu, i modified it. and because the cpu did good in the benchmark, i kept the cpu!

  • only lowest settings noobs

  • pentium 4 dual core?? I see lies!!!! Pentium 4 was single core. Intels first attempt at dual core was the pentium D followed by core 2's. Im guessing you played at lowest settings on a 19" too?

  • not pentium 4 dual core, its pentium dual core

  • In that case its the E2xxx or E5xxx 1.6ghz or 1.8ghz by any chance?

  • its 2 GHz

  • Attila, You have made it into the 'Faggots of the week' List on my Website.

Enjoy your Fame you double Nigger.

  • Learn to use better grammar.

  • I laugh at your stupidity, I am 21.

  • Learn proper grammar and spelling please.

  • It seems that you don't have any other problems in your life, than swearing on other ppl xD!

What's your problem? Don't watch the video if you don't like it!

  • whateva yo.suck my dick

  • Get yourself a life dude xD!

  • 8800GT is shit.

I've got 8800Ultra and in Cry Sis,

i have got 35 on max.

  • Not bad though I am curious of your system specs + your operating system 32 or 64 bit as well.

  • wat

  • Crysis is a sick game.

  • it's not actually recording though. he just turned fraps on to show the fps.

    just a typo i assume

  • that was clever...

  • mann this is slow as fuk

  • damn nice pc but noisy^^ too noisy for me^^

  • I just HAD to turn up the fan !!!

'cause i was playin on very high.

And i didn't want my card to melt !!!

It's noisy when you listen to the fan......

But when playin a game you just don't notice that it's noisy !.!.!

  • oh, and also, I heard a rumor that since the 8800gts is the fastest 8800 (out of order) and since it's VERY similar tto the 9800gtx and is almost identical fps but is cheaper it's being discontinued...something's fishy.

  • yeah, the 9600 is newer, but the 8800gt is the same chipset as the 9800gtx and is and 8 series by label but technicall yis a 9 series and outperforms the 9600gt by alot. the gts 512mb is also the 9 series chipset.

  • Infinite, is your GTS the 512MB version? Also, that really does piss me off when people ask if their systems can run stuff. I mean even if your not sure, just look at gameplay videos... Jesus.

  • I Want to ask a question im buying a new pc just for this game to run it on high or better these are going to be the specs if you know something better please let me know

    xfx pv-t94p-ydd4 gf 9600gt 512mb ddr3 pci-e dual dvi

    700mhz 2 of those

    asus maximus extreme + intel q9550 product tbd lga 775 fsb1333mhz 12mb cache + 2 X OCZ ddr3 2gb pc12800 platinum 1600mhz

  • The components that you picked are really good.

But spending that much money just to play ''crysis'' on very high settings........

man,you must be crazy.Trust me ,you're gonna get bored of the game after you finish it in 2 or 3 evenings.

  • It's not only for crysis , its also for Far Cry 2, maybe bioshock and etc. And yes i am crazy.

  • bioshock runs smooth maxed on a 7900 card dude.crysis on the other hand needs a pair of 8800 cards to run smooth maxed in dx10.

  • 8800gt is better than 9600gt!!!!

  • do you guys know if you can use crysis on max settings using an Alienware area51 m9750 with dual nvidia 8700gt's cos i have played it on an nvidia 7 series and i get about 10-17 fps on all low settings and it pisses me off lol

  • u guys are idiots.

some people just are little retards on pc info's.. everybody have been a noob once.

so is it just hard to answer the question politely? :/

  • he was just trying to show off his medicore system

  • I have VISTA aswell.

So yes you will run it.

    The resolution here is 1028x1024.

  • this works like a peice of piss on vista x64 aswell if anyone is curious about running in 64bit

  • I run crysis at 25-30 fps on high with no aa with xp on a Q6600 4gbram 8800gts.. It should run better, right? Would vista improve it?

  • dude playin on vista is gonna cost you and additional 10FPS drop so BEWARE.

  • Are you fucking retarded? LOOOL 10 fps... Crysis was made for Vista and DX10, it performs better on vista...

  • Bullshit

i got 79 fps average on my comp on XP MCE but on vista i get a measly 54 fps average

It topped on 103 on XP and 75 on vista

    thats lower than my average!

  • I meant 83 fps max

(note that was when i was overclocking)

  • Oh so your vista comp has the exact same system specs as your XP comp? Don't be a dipshit, theres a lot of variables you're not taking into account.

  • Yeh no shit

all the drivers were the same

ever program was exactly the same

everything was identical except that the windows operating system used up about 500mb of ram instead of about 50mb

  • you do realize the reason you get a slightly lower fps on vista for crysis than xp is because vista has Dx10 which enables more lighting effects and shaders in-game so your graphics card dose have do do some more work but you get a better visual experience than on xp

  • Yeh i realsie about DX10 but im running DX9 on vista

which means that there should be no difference

  • Vista not only has better sond drivers, but higher visual quality maximums and variance. But forget vista, it's all about windows 7.

  • That's not quite true I'm afraid

XP has all the same visual drivers as Vista does but Vista has DX10 support. It's just sloooow

My G15 says 10% was being used by XP and 30% was being used by Vista

The CPU usage is much lower. With W7RC and W7 review copy it uses about 12-16% of my ram ant uses just a little over what XP did. Turning off all the visual settings and it's faster =D

  • when he play on xp, he cant play on very high -.-'

only with a patch, but that is buggy and costs fps like vista

  • if i can run it with my core 2 duo 2.4gh and 2gig ram.......

Then you will definetly run it!!!!!

  • low ass resoultion

  • Of course.

  • Yeah good luck cragvis!

  • odd, I have a pentium D duel core 3.0ghz

    6gb of ram

and an 8800gts 640mb card...yet I can bearly keep 15fps with even just medium settings...

    what am i doing wrong?

  • your cpu is bottlenecking the gpu ... try getting an x25000+ or E8200 or higher.

  • I dont like amd, id rather get intel, so a core 2 duo or even a quad core would be better?

I guess pent D chips are just crap then? I thought it would rock since it is duel core and 3.0ghz

  • nope its actually the cheapest dual core cpu intel makes but its also VERY crappy, the cheapest core 2 duo would blow the pentium D away and i think that the cheapest core 2 duo is like 1.8GHZ in speed

  • Ahh, well i found a very good quad core 2.4ghz intel chip with heatsink and fan for 280$. Ill just upgrade to that.

I soo want to play on max settings with at least 15+fps

  • Q6600 FTW!

  • well also the 8800gts just blows now i mean with the 8800gt out there which equals the performance of a GTX

  • The 8800GTS 512MB can keep up with the GTX, but the GT is still noticeably lower, since I have owned both.
