It was the 80's and back then every big was better, and what else would you do with al your money? Give it to the poor, so that the biggest slice of the money pie would end up in the wrong pockets? And who says that you should take al your belongings into your grave? were not the egyptians. Hell, if i were rich, i would make sure that i would spend every dime i had before i get old and die, and live life to the max.
