His program was flawed and there were no difficult elements at the end unlike the American. He deserved silver. He's getting old, and needs to think about stars on ice.
Erm ..Lysacek didn't perform even the triple axel as far as I remember. Other triples are a must to even start at Olympics .. really hard.
Truth is, he performed them at the end, that is amazing.
And also truth is Plushenko wasn't perfect that day and he himself knew it.
But overally I still agree with Plushenko a real champion should be able to jump a quad. If it was only about the beauty, then Lambiel should have been the winner.
For that day, he deserves his gold, overally he's no champion.
