  • By listening to his music you can see, how he influenced the Faces, and Rod S. Great singer and writer wished had more backing, at least he did some singing with the Faces.Nice

  • Ronnie Fuckin Lane

  • @abbeazly Ya goddamn right.

  • I just found out that Eric Clapton co-wrote this song with Ronnie!

It seems from all I've read that Eric and Ronnie were truly great

friends! I have a lot of respect for those who stuck by Ronnie in

good times, and in bad, and there were way too many of those! (:-(

  • plonk sounds very like george harrison here

  • @sratus I agree, my 12 year old son also thought it was George singing.

  • @gicw1998 very similar style. sounds like you've got a cool son by the way, better taste than a lot of 12 year olds.

  • Thanks for posting this, everyone should put everything Ronnie ever did on the net, so that the world would realise what an absolute genius he was!

I still think "debris" was the greatest song ever written.

  • My fav is Ooh La La

  • The best song Mr. Lane ever wrote :>)

  • Ronnie's music is truely beautiful

  • This is a lovely track, Ronnie sure knew how to put a song over!!, Beautiful rhythm for dancing, lights low & people[ who can preferably] singing along, great.

  • lovely little song he has left us with some wonderful memories and songs

  • Ironic, seems to fit with Clapton's post-1990s accoustic work rather than his late 70s/80s pop records!.

  • This is my favourite song, I think. Its so touching...

Through many years I`ve never been tired of listeting this.

    Ronnie is genius.

  • Actually, don't you think George and Ronnie have very similar styles of singing? Both wonderful. But yea, Ronnie is a great song writer and performer.

  • And so was George too, ayeh? ;-) love them both and let both RIP

  • i need aover who won't drive me crazy...

sa lute to ronnie who i had a chance to hang with a few times. There were a lot of good sweet people in the london scene and round and about. Great days and RL was one of the salt of the earth stars...

Honor to those courageous enough o not be buttafuggas

  • Not to my knowledge.I don't think he ever went bald.

  • Thats Clapton playing the solo, the standout track from "see me", what a pity hardly anyone bothered with it at the time, but Ronnie was unwell and not really able to tour and promote the thing.

  • Thank you so much for this. I saw Ronnie perform once in the 70s, his wife came on stage and danced a cancan. He was everything good about the music of that time. RIP, beautiful man.

  • I've recently bought the cd April Fool to check out ronnie Lane and this song really stood out first for me. Just beautiful. I now have the 2 later slim chance cd's and the Passing Show DVD. This guy was so incredible and I never new it till just recently.
