  • @komaleo

I suppose you liked it, then?

  • i loveit :) feels like im about to break out a rap song with this beat :) i say remix in the future ;)

  • @missinglostsoul

Hahhah, I support Rammstein remixes :D

    Thanks for the comment!

  • u'r good....hope u make it in this way

  • @grozacristy1

    Thank you :)

  • joder!!!

  • @joder37

What does that mean in English? :)

  • @Nihoggr it means

    "fuck yeah!"

It is a vulgar way to say "very good".

  • @vclavijo

Thank you for the clarification there! :)

  • nice, let´s make a band! :-)

  • @Flekina286

Hahhah, I'm not sure if I would make a good drummer :D But thanks!

  • Good WORK MEN!

  • @engel1999

Thanks, though I think you mean "man"? :P

    Appreciate it anyway!

  • rock n rolla :)

  • @DieDicken

    Hahhah, you think so? :D

  • hey its great to see someone try to play such great music....way to go dude!

  • Hey thanks! I like that you appreciate my attempt here, so thank you very much :)

  • sounds way too clangy and u used the wrong cymbals at the start - tbh ur cymbals sound like they wer taking out of a bin u found on your highstreet

  • You'd be amazed what you can find sometimes from a garbage bin!

But to be serious: What did you mean by using wrong cymbals? Could you be more specific, please?

You also might want to consider the fact that the sound is ass 'cause this was all recorded with the video camera's built- in microphone.

Fourthly, I must disagree about the quality of my cymbals. They haven't been quite cheap to buy so I believe you have misjudged them too easily.

  • nice =) i like it

  • Thank you, happy to hear that :)

  • Isn't it a bit too many snare hits?

  • Umm, I'm not sure. I mean, I do like to impro my stuff but what I can guarantee you is that I totally overplayed the bass drum.

  • eres un vil pendejo

ni siquiera puedes sacrar la de stirb nicht vor mir

    vil idiota

cuaNDO SAPAS TOCAR MEJOR SUBE TUS VIDEOS NO

    estupido

  • I'm sorry, but I cannot understand what you are trying to say.

Even if it is negative feedback, I would appreciate you to translate it to English language, please?

  • i think it's kinda negative because of "idiota" and "estupido", but i'm german i dunno:D

  • Yeah, hahhah you do get that negative feel to it but I don't like to judge people's words just 'cause I don't understand them context :)

Danke für... Uh, forgot what's "watching" in deutsch :)

  • if u click copy and go to google translate and click paste u can get it translated to english

  • Aah, but I don't use Google Translate :) Thanks, anyways.

  • It means: "You're a dumbass

you can't even play Stirb nicht vor mir

    you, dumbass

when you know how to play better upload your videos, don't?

    Stupid"

  • Hahhah, thanks for the translation!

  • god i wish i had a drum set like that... that probably costed like hundreds of dollars

  • Well, I can't give you an exact count, especially in dollars but currently my acoustic drum set might worth of around 1000 to 1500 €. That would probably be around 2000 $.

But you don't need a big drum set to be a good drummer.

If you like to have variation in your drumset, I suggest to buy an electronic set. Those things might have only like 2 cymbals, 1 snare and 3 toms but they tend to have hundreds of different samples and built- in kits.

  • Have any sheet music? ied love to learn this =]

  • Nope, no sheet music to share. Sorry :/

I play songs by what I learn from listening and memorizing.

  • nice but you dont play the original song!!!

  • What do you mean?

  • I wish i could play drums like u, Good Job

  • Aww, no offence but you can! With just some practice you can easily learn stuff better than I have. It also helps to have a teacher around!

I've been playing about 7 years now but I guarantee that I haven't learned anything in this time that couldn't be performed with just 1 year of drumming.

  • good job dude.

  • Thanks, man :)

  • Very nice, really good!!

  • Hey, thanks man! Glad you liked it.

  • Incredible - amazing! I'm impressed - really liked this video! Thanks!

  • Thank you!

I'm glad my cover was pleasing :)

  • Do you really know nothing about the drums. I f so you should get into it because you are good. Even if you know stuff good job.

  • Hahhah, thank you! :) Very kind from you, I appreciate the comment.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Nice perform, honest.

  • Thank you and I do appreciate your words :)

  • CooL !!! Realy Good Work !!!!

  • Thank you for watching and sharing taste for good music :)

  • gre8, so nice

  • Thank you, cool that you enjoyed it :)

  • no se escucha tan mal solo un poco descuadrada en el tiempo. pero very good jaja

  • Umm, I didn't quite understand but I presume you liked it 'cause of the "very good"- part? :D

Thank you anyways for watching and commenting. Oh and if you feel the need to translate your comment, I won't mind it :)

  • I said there are some little failures in your playin, but everybody who rework some songs of other bands should get an "respect".

    Never stop learning ^^

  • Yeah, definitely failures :)

Thanks for the kind words and I'll keep on learning!

  • Ein paar fehlerchen, aber wer sich die mühe macht sowas nachzuspielen verdient dennoch ein "Respekt". ^^

  • Do forgive me, but I don't understand what you are saying :/ Can you translate to English, if it's not too big of a problem?

    Thank you.

  • sta konmadre

  • Ok... And what does this mean, then? x)

  • suena muy biem....=)

  • What does that mean? :D

  • Excellent

  • Thanks, buddy!

  • Hey mann das war wunderbar

  • Viele danke!

  • you do to much! You mustn't use so much drums for that song!

  • A lot people would agree with you and you are probably right :)

  • Not bad =D

  • Thx :)

  • Yay, dude, great job :)

  • Oh, thank you! :)

  • Advice from one drummer to another:

    1. Listen to yourself.

    2. Tighten up.

    3. Boom, bap, ba, dabababap. Not good.

    4. Don't play your hats so loose, it doesn't hide a bad meter.

    5. Dont mute your drums. Odds are they sound bad when they resonate cause they are not tuned properly. Try tuning them in 5th's much like a guitar is. This includes your kick.

    6. Don't mash your foot into the kick.

    7. Stop overplaying. Give the music only what it needs.

This song is delicate and it requires finesse.

  • 2nd advice is kinda worthless since I feel like I can't :P

4th, my hi-hats are open this much 'cause it sounds good to my ear through the headphones and that's what matters to me while playing.

5th I'll probably be keeping my toms with mute rings as they just sound better that way, proven in studio. How can I tune to 5th's if I don't have tuning ear?

6th I'm working on. I'm trying to slowly learn to play with my heels down on the pedal plate.

Character count ran out on my reply, sorry!

  • You can always tighten up. Rudimentary exercises. Over and over.

No offense, your hats sound like horses stomping in their own shit.

Mute rings? In a studio? And engineer would shoot you on sight for saying so.

Tuning in 5th's is easy, but it takes time. I'll explain in an email if you want.

  • Heels up or down, either is fine, I'm a heels up player, but I keep my balance with my ass, and let me feet float to an extent. Kick, then release. It will actually help you with doublets and triplets. Think of it like holding your stick against every drum you hit till the next note.

  • Yeah I get your point.

I've been thinking that maybe I can find a balance once I learn to play heels up and heels down and not sticking the hammer to the skin.

That is a major trouble for me and for now it seems like the only consolation for me in it is that some other people have the same issue :P

  • LOL, We all have issues! You'll be right, mate.

Hit up Guitar Center and look up Mike Portnoy's Liquid Drum Theater DVD. Best $50 you'll ever spend.

Just remember its harder to deliver a note when the beater or stick is still pressed against the head, hit it and gtfo for the next shot!

  • I'm not a fan of Mike Portnoy, is it still a reasonable bargain?

Hit it and gtfo... I need to write that on all of my skins! Classic :D

  • Yeah, rudiments... All I need is something to get me started with them! I always get too bored :(

I like to compare my hi-hats to two clay plates! :D

But they've served me for 6 years without a scratch.

Mute rings, in studio, yup! We tested toms with and without and even the engineer agreed that they sounded better with mute rings on them.

Tuning in 5th= latin to me but IF you think you can explain it to me without wasting your precious time, please do so? :)

  • wow you did an amazing job 5/5

  • Thanks, so good to hear that you thought it was amazing :)

  • Nice playing, very nice - it's good side ^^

You don't match with original, kinda your version - bad side :P But I like it ;)

  • Yup, I usually alternate parts of songs on purpose. I usually enjoy what I come up with but sometimes I feel it's like a curse :D

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • A lot better than I expected.

  • Thank you :)

  • A little bit to fast -but we are proud of you;)

  • Yes, maybe :) Thank you, I appreciate it!

  • very nice, you play some more tabs than in the original, but it sounds very good 5 stars!! Love it!

  • Yup, I play more than in the original and at some parts I regret it now. BUT people still seem to like it, so I'm happy eventually :)

    Thanks for checking it out!

  • yes its really great!

  • Thanks again, hahhah :)

  • The playing isn't that bad, but you really didn't capture the slow feel of the original song with those many ghost notes and all those bassdrum strikes.

  • They aren't really ghost notes on my behalf, just very poor scrapings on the snare skin :P

And you might well be right that I did not catch the slow atmosphere here. I was very hasty and tried to speed up the tempo many times.

I agree about the exaggerated bass drum use.

  • Great job! ud be a cool addition to any band out there

  • Thank you, that's really nice to hear :)

  • Great

    I Fink The Drummers GOOD

  • Thank you!!! Very happy to hear that :)

  • Oh my f...... god this drummer sucks big time.

  • Sorry to hear that, but at least you know now to avoid my videos, right? :)

  • You obviously don't play do you!

  • Once again, amazing! I love this song, so it was really nice to hear the drumming parts in it cause you don't hear it as clearly cause of all the other instruments. But yeah, everything was right on mark! Awesome job. =)

  • Hey, wow! I'm always very happy to hear from people who love this song that they are satisfied with my performance, as I don't want to ruin the song for them :)

I appreciate your comment very much! Thanks to both of you :P

  • Mate, I love this song and play drums to it aswell. (Not as good as you)I cant get the double stroke rolls right yet but I'm working on it. Thanks for encouraging me to keep practicing. Love your work.

  • Oh, seems like I haven't noticed this comment, sorry!

If you also play this song, it's cool! Kinda bad, though, that I didn't have any better angle for you so that it might have helped you. Not that you would need my help, but... :D

Thank you for the kind words.

  • cool

  • Good that you think so, thanks to you!

  • Nice. Keep it up!

  • Thanks. I will, hopefully :P

  • wooow!!!

    you are great :D

I`m working with musicians, and one of our big problems is, that we haven`t a good drummer :P

    you`re rally good ;)

  • Thank you, thank you! :P

I'm sorry to hear that your drummer is not good enough, though :/

  • who knows maybe we`ll sing together but this we can`t know for sure. practice a lot cuz you are talented

    :P :* ;);)

    ;))

  • Thank you for the encouragement!!! :)

  • Awesome, Love your double bass work. Thanks for the post.

  • Hey man! No problem, I highly appreciate your comment and am glad to hear that you liked especially the bass- parts.

Thank you for watching and commenting!

  • good job

  • Thank you :)

  • you played very well, only problem is your outfit... that is not Rammstein approved, get into some tight leather clothes and grow out your hair a little, and then were in business!

  • Hah, thanks :D I haven't almost ever really paid attention to the outfit I'm using when playing.

I don't happen to own any tight leather clothing nor do I want to grow my hair, since it gets irritating after an while. Hahhah, sorry :P

  • complimenti!davvero bravo!

  • Ahh, I was able to translate this :P

Well I'm thankful for your complimentary and also glad that you liked it :)

    Grazie signora!

  • boar! we need someone like u in our band^^

  • Hahah, thanks :D I'm sure you'll find one as good as me or probably even better ;)

  • wll thank´s for your good wishes(wiso schreiben wir auf englisch???

  • Ok, no problem :) Except that what do you mean by "wiso schreiben wir auf englisch???"? I'm not good at German so are you asking that why are we writing in English? :D Or something, sorry about my bad German :P

  • i was just wondering why we are writing in english because i thought u were german, because you are playing to a german band in the video!^^

but im half english so it´s no problem for me to write in english! =)

    (still a good video ;))

  • Hahhah, yeah I understand now. I'm Finnish.

    Yeah thanks anyway :D

  • =)!!!!!!!

  • I appreciate it :)

  • You did it justice.

  • I'm thankful to hear that!

  • nice :)

  • Thanks!

  • good...

  • Ok, great that you think so :) Thx.

  • no problem :D

  • your drumming is not bad...

but i think it sound better when you don't do the ride/crash at the beginning...that is a bit strange...but in the rest song its good!!

    :)

  • Ah, you're referring to the small fills I did in the start? Sorry, it's just "my thang" :D

But I do appreciate your opinion very much and hopefully it will reflect positively in the future, concerning these "fills" of mine :)

Thank you for watching and commenting!

  • please, die before I do!

  • It will be most likely if you do not smoke! Live healthily.

  • oh man never do it again

find out what youre nt able to be and let it be

  • Never do this song again or never drum again? I'm sorry but I don't think I'll give up drumming that easily! ;)

But if I want to learn (which I do) and find something I can't do, shouldn't I try it again and again until I learn it instead of letting it be?

What particularly didn't fit your ear/eye here?

  • Nice!

  • Glad that you found it satisfying :)

  • great job!

  • Thank you, kind person!

  • I don't even like this song (rammstein have WAY better stuff), but you kept me interested until the very end! keep it up dude! ***** stars

  • Wow, that's a really risky thing to say and also very nice! Thank you very much, I'm glad it worked out for you :)

  • Good drumming :)

  • Heh, not that good from me, but the original is! :D Thanks to you for watching and commenting.

  • awesome job dude! You Rock!

  • Cool, that you also think that way. I am grateful of your comment& view!

  • five stars :)

  • Thank you!

  • cool i love this song as well as your playing 5/5!

  • Thank you very much!

    I appreciate it :)

  • Sorry, I'll just say one word, hoping I'll transmit how you're song made me feel: WOW !

    5* for you :)

  • Heh, I'll then try to put it as short as you did by saying 5 wor- THREE, SIR!-... three words:

    Huge THANK YOU!

  • That's some great playing man. Its sounds pretty dead-on to me, even with the not-so-great camera microphone. I have great respect for anybody who can do the song justice. It's one of my favorites.

  • Hey that's great! A song so important to you and you're satisfied with my cover of it :)

    Makes me feel glad!

I hope to record with better audio someday... hehe!

    Thanks for your comment& subscription!

  • Uh man, I'm sorry but I cannot understand spanish or any other language other than english and finnish.

Could you or anyone translate this to me? I would really appreciate it!

Anyways, you watched this and put in a smiley at your comment so I'm guessing you have something positive to say, so thank you whatever it is for now!!! ;)

  • "en especial esa cancion me fascina. es muy llegadora. y como dicen ustedes los gringos "congratulations" jeje :P "

I love this song, I love it. Its very nice, and like thevnortheamricans say "congratulations"

  • Thx for the correction, also ;)
