  • Give me, oh God, your protection,

    And in protection, power,

    And in power, understanding,

    And in understanding, knowledge,

And in knowledge, the knowledge of righteousness,

And in the knowledge of righteousness; the love for it,

And in this love, the love for all creatures,

And in the love for all creatures, the love of God:

    God is everything good.

  • au debut je croyait entendre gandalf XD

  • Die Sprache hört sich genial an!

  • Awesome! LOVE Eluveitie!

  • 1:30 you hear the same melody as in Ne Regv Na.

    I love Ne Regv Na...

WHat am I saying? I love Eluveitie with every song they do <3

  • @ratedA4Awesum sounds similar, but isn't quite the one :( still it means they play the right things!

  • @ratedA4Awesum

and the beginning sounds like tegernako^^

  • @TheDandelion93 also sounds like ne regv na

  • this is awsome XD

  • KURVA tož to je mazec ! ! !

  • @pavelunverdorben KURVA -

    KAS TAS IR?

  • @gillgill131 Čehu lāsts. Izcelt.

  • @pavelunverdorben Děkujeme vám.

  • it sometimes sounds very similar to the "modern" swiss-german dialect. I can recognize very few words, but didn't study gaulish (I wish I had..)

  • and translation of this text? :D

  • so cool

  • Well for starters it can be found in the booklet for Ven, I have also read it in a few old manuscripts that my Uncle owned before he passed on. But the booklets to each Eluveitie album has a lot of helpful informaton....very awesome to you btw for the work that you are doing. I am actually studying to be a Druid right now, I have about another 16years to go with my learning. =)

  • @TheCauthBodva I am a Druid apprendist... what are you studing for become a druid ? do you know all subject to study for become this ?? i don't think... if you have any questions contact my in E-mail.. sorry if I seem arrogant but many of "apprendists druds" that I've known were only charlatans (and I'm sorry for my english but I'm a young italian and I don't know a good english)

    bye...

  • nah this is from the re-release of the ep done in 04

  • wtf ? the flute is the same as in ne Regv Na ?

  • i jak zwykle eluveitie rozwalilo mnie na lopatki

  • hammer sach

  • its really awsome!!

  • I just wonder how they know that Elveti Celts made music this way ^.^

  • @cilibinarii Helvetii*

  • @zyzzyx222 That is the Roman spelling.. -.-

  • @cilibinarii WRONG FAGGOT

  • @zyzzyx222 No, their songs like I am the Helvetian are Gaulish, same thing as their name Eluveitie, means I am the Helvetian in their language

  • La musicalità dalla metà in poi con i flauti mi ricorda tanto quella di Ne Regv Na

  • D'Vêritû Agâge D'Bitu , is an ancient Druid saying, it is Gaulish and means "The Truth Against The World"

  • @TheCauthBodva Where did you learn it, or better: what is your source?

You see, I am trying to gather as much as I can of the Druids' teachings to improve my worship of the Gods, Spirits and Ancestors. I'm a celtic reconstructionist, by the way.

  • @TheCauthBodva Vêritû sounds like wahrheit=german for truth or like veritad=spanish truth

  • @TheBaum94

    or the latin "Veritas"

  • @Lynwe But they sing in gaulish.

  • @TheCauthBodva that's a real philosophical and wise statement which is still something to think about. And then they dared to call those people barbarians..

  • o que que o maluco do começo fica tendo uma viagem?

  • this song is also on the album The Arcane Dominion....well actually its a bit different and acoustic...

  • oh i love this song, as i love most of Eluveities other songs

This is from their first single/ep Vén

forglehorktheork im sorry to say but chrigel formed eluveitie and as he did that he must have been the first member of eluveitie

this is taken from ther website

Originally formed by mastermind Chrigel Glanzmann in Winter 2002/2003 as a mere studio project, the first MCD "Vên" was recorded in spring 2003 - already unique in it's way of having folkmusic on an equal footing with the metal sound.

  • Does anybody know the translation of this text?:O

  • I believe it's Gaulish.

  • quelle belle langue

  • en effet

bien plus belle que notre français !

    Longue Vie Au Metal ...

  • Quel bel langue...Elle a traversé les ages...

  • @toxicity187 Le langue a Gaul

  • This was actually before a single one of the current members were in the band. Not even Chrigel.

  • i thought that chrigel formed the band o.O

  • and a fact it is. dunno what he means...

  • The first Eluveitie song released to the public. Pretty damn good. Very Celtic.

  • i think this is the 2004 re-release version
