@CaLL0fDuTy4 You miss the point & purpose of the Bible. It tells us that God loves us so much that he made the sacrifice to provide eternal life. Not just to teach good morals. In fact it points out that on our own, without a new spiritual birth, we can NOT successfully life out the good morals people see in the Bible. Besides, what good is a morally good life if you miss out on heaven and eternal life? :-}

You are free to believe what you want, but you believe (or I believe) does not make it real or true. Things that are true is true on its own merit. So "Seek truth." When our "time to go" comes, we are not afraid to die, but since we can live with God's spirit in us now, we are content on earth also.

@onemoresnoopy My whole family is Christian except my Brother and I. My family found out and they just attacked me with comments like, "you're going to hell!", "I'm ashamed of you." What makes you the person to decide which religion I am or if I am a nonbeliever. Religion has pros and cons. It does teach you morals, but it isn't to be taken literally. When taken literally, you get extremists and radicals who force religion upon others and do more harm believing in a god. Religion causes wars.

Romans says that people reject God in spite of evidence that it obvious to anyone because they would rather live in unrighteousness.

The Bible isn't there to teach morals. That's what the Pharisees believed. Christ mocked them openly and consistently. The Bible is there to teach that we are unable to do good, and that we deserve punishment because of it. Jesus came so that we could be saved from the punishment that we deserve. We are here to glorify God. No more, no less.

@dakanderson The Bible is just a plagiarized version of the astronomical story of the sun which came from the Egyptians. What makes the Bible a non-fiction story? Who even knows that Jesus even existed? If you knew astrology, you would realize that religion is just a story about the sun's movement through Dec. 22 - 25th.

Not wanting a fight. If you're interested, you can find PLENTY of evidence for Jesus' existence. That's really not even a question, if you're honest.

The Bible can and will continue to stand up to scrutiny. I suspect your comment more proves what I said. Creation proves God exists. We ALL know it. Some just reject it because they prefer to live however they want.

God didn't force you to follow him, and I won't either. You know Him. You reject Him.

@dakanderson The only account of him ever existing is in the Bible, what makes you believe that every event mentioned in the Bible took place? The great flood was completely taken out of the Book of Gilgamesh, the story about the sun (son) being placed on the cross, resurrected in 3 days, and then born again is a misconception and people believe it is an actual person being portrayed, yet it is the sun being mentioned. Please, let me know when you see a god, jesus, or hell. I'd like to see it.

Because you know that god is working in your life. and when it comes down to it, it doesnt matter what you believe, or what you think of the bible or the events which took place in it. What matters is your relationship with god.

It was possibly the most life changing event I have ever experienced. I could actually feel the Holy Spirit move in all of us. And you're trying to say that is filled with joy? You don't even understand your own religion. You're constantly in fear of God and worrying if you'll "upset" him.
