I'm also thinking of changing the name of this video to "My wifes camry is faster than MY mustang". Shortly after this video was made, I bought a 4.6 5sp GT...and yes my wifes camry is quicker. As far as my quarter mile times...not all cars are built the same, no it is not stock, and I'm running at the fastest track in the country.

2008 3.5L Camry's will run the quarter mile in mid to low 14's which is very respectable. 4.6L stangs with no mods will run in mid to high 13.'s., again respectable for a small V8. This Camry is obviously on a power adder.

I like the new Camry SE's, with the nice stock body kit and 268hp to boot is definitely worth while, but cmon you are being a little bit overzealous here, Ford is revamping the Mustang quite nicely, even the v6 boasts 307hp and a v8 with 412hp. I doubt a camry is going to keep up with that stock for stock. Even if we get into the modded vs Modded argument, cmon mustangs just a lot more aftermarket support

This video was recorded before the 2010s were out. The 2010 mustangs are lighter and faster than the outgoing 2005-2009 generation. Also, a 4.6l V8 that beats a 3.5l V6 by only .3 of a second is nothing to brag about.

I like the Pontiac G8. Australians know how to make great RWD family cars. They have been doing it for years and it wasn't until recently that GM decided to import Holdens to America under the Pontiac Brand. If only they had done it sooner I think that Pontiac could have saved itself from being canned.
A mustang and a Camry are different cars so the price is going to be different. A Mustang is built for straight line speed and nothing else. A Camry is a family sedan that is fast in a straight line, but can also take the entire family + luggage to the beach while getting 28mpg on the highway.A Camry was made to fit the role of several cars. And even though the Camry is FWD, the SE model will outhandle a mustang (Except for the new 2010s. THat is a Mustang I would buy)
